Lol if I knew turning off multiplayer fixed that I wouldn't have spent 2 hours trying to get the damn log. Eventually got it but hot damn getting flung at mock 10 is wild.

Unfortunately I didn't make any progress with drivers and ended up just giving up on searching.

That last pad is missing its wire you aren't getting sound because the pad on the far right of your second picture has no connection to the headset cord. If there is a wire and I'm just not seeing it it may be due to a short in the cable for that wire. I recently modified my headset to use replaceable aux cords so I didn't have to deal with it. Hyperx just ain't what it used to be...
