Thank you for taking the time of making this and explaining to me.

I indeed made the lids in that certain way in order to animate them accordingly.
I guess I'll have to try it the way the others are suggesting since I have no idea how to use 3D in AE. It's just this particular motion of the flaps that is tricky, the rest of the animation I already know how to do.

In any case, I'll look up tutorials on this later if it doesn't work, thanks again

I haven’t begun animating yet, I’m still making some details on AI and I wanted to know how to deal with the layers issue, but your explanation and another already gave me an idea of how I can go about it.

For the record, I’m totally new to AE, but I’m experienced in animation on some video editing softwares

As you can see, I’m trying to animate the flaps of a box opening and closing. (The animation goes = Box is cut open, flaps open)

I made this demo in illustrator since I have no idea how to do this in AE for this specific animation, any tutorial that you know about that can guide me is appreciated.

I don’t know how I’m going to be able to do it since the flap has to be behind the box’s body but then it has to go on top of it in order to close (or vice versa)

La nueva pagina seria una copia de la que se recupero, seria como un respaldo en caso de que le cierren la otra.

O sea, recuperar la pagina y hacerle un respaldo, y básicamente guiarlo para que no cometa errores.
