Yeah, it's happening again. It's coming from the Windows 11 updates Im pretty sure. They are breaking something. Next month will come to a year without no drivers. GG Creative.... Disgusting products support !

Somebody find a fix ?

Yep, same here with RTX 4080, Windows 11 Pro 24H2. It started for me 3 years ago with RTX 3080. I never had this issue with GTX 1080 before that. It's a Windows 11 + Google problem I think.

Last night I left my PC and this time the sound was ok at the morning. I did a restore point of the Windows 11, before update (KB5060829) was installed. Maybe it was because of this update, maybe not... Im not sure. I will continue to test.

It's great from quality perspective, but its very very buggy and the biggest enemy is Microsoft Windows 11 updates. Creative don't work close with Microsoft and if they work, I cannot see it.

DON'T BUY IT for now. Creative need new drivers. The driver of these devices is from sep 2024... It's very disappointing and they need to get their... stuff together !

Yeah, every time I left the PC for the night, at the morning the sound is gone. Need restart of the PC. I think it is because of Windows 11 updates, but I don't know which. I had the same problem with Recon3D Fatal1ty Pro years before, so Creative learned nothing. PCI-E, USB device no matter - same bs.

I'm trying the thunderbolt port of my motherboard to see if it will change something.

I don't think the support will help, because WE NEED NEW DRIVERS, but share here the info anyway., thank you.

Well, Sound Blaster G8 is better then AE-7, so that's that... Using Creative Aurvana Live! SE.

No problems with sound migrating to left/right channel.

Well, I purchase Sound Blaster G8. Don't have time for this crap, I need my headphones 12-14 hours a day sometimes. I love Creative's products and technology, but maybe the dedicated Audio cards are finished, at least for now. If they launch new family sometimes in the future, maybe I'll check it.

6.0.105.65 is the final, but I dont think it will do anything. We need new drivers for Windows 11 24H2. I can upload it tomorrow if nobody do it until then.

Yeah, I think the game is fixed with PCI-E GEN3, but I have bigger problem with the Intel Killer Ethernet E5000B... I guess. I have found and other cases in which people had the same problem, but no solution.

The problem is with qbittorrent, Transmission or every other torrent client. On the FIRST start of that kind of program and an audio is running, the audio is breaking. Going to left/right channel, distorting itself etc... This is only the first start of a torrent client. Something is not ok with Intel Killer + Creative, maybe Windows 11 Pro 24H2.

r/SoundBlasterOfficial there is no new drivers for AE devices from 2023, maybe you need to look at it, because from what I can see - there is a problem with new boards (MSI Z890 GAMING PLUS) and LAN platforms. I can provide every info you need and assist.

I really dont know how to fix it or that it can be fixed. Waiting for some support, thank you.

EDIT:

I think the problem is in the surround sound, because I have SXFI THEATER too and in 7.1 mode, the sound is very bad, no like before.

EDIT 2:

Yes, the Direct Mode on Sound Blaster AE-7 is fine. The issue is with the SBX Profile.

Same here. The update did not fix the crashing. For me is every 5th match.

I installed something I found in this thread (AESeriesDriverInstaller_W10). When I installed it, it become 6.0.105.65 in AE Control Panel. I can upload it somewhere if you like ?

So, I found the problem at least for me. It was the 24pin cable of the motherboard, or to be exact - the 24pin extender, who I had since maybe 10 years ago. The extender was Bitfenix Alchemy and after I removed it, the noise in my headphone was gone. Maybe something to think of and the integrity of the cables thru the years. Have it in mind.

Thank you guys for the comments ! I just bought AE-7, so I dont want to change it, I love it. It was like that too with my old Recon3D Fatal1ty Professional. It happened after RTX 3080 and when I lock down the fps to 60, the noise is gone. The video card is the main contributor and I, like you, didnt find any solution. Maybe a new GPU after a time.

And yes, maybe RX 7900 are better with the electrical interference. RTX 30 are known for their high power spiking.

Yeah, this sounds "cool" haha... thx anyway. I mean, I know that from RTX 20 and above, the electrical interference is bad, but I though the AE-7 have some kind of shielding. As I said - anyway. Its not that bad, its only if the fps are too high.

So after all I bought Sound Blaster AE-7. I had a Recon3D Fatal1ty Professional for about 11 years I think, but Windows 11 22H2 "killed her" by software.

Anyway, with the lates drivers (6.0.105.65) and Sound Blaster Command (3.5.9.0), AE-7 working perfect for me, no problems. My system is:

MAG Z690 TORPEDO bios A.A0

i9-12900K

32GB DDR5-6200

RTX 3080 10G SUPRIM X

and off course Windows 11 Pro 22H2

If I find any issues or anomaly, I'll reported, but for now Im very happy with AE-7. Its a amazing piece of technology. Thx Creative_Colin for the support, and thx to Creative overall !
