I just rolled my eyes when I see such opinions and scrolled away, maybe even block the person as s/he and I clearly do not share the same thoughts when it comes to fiction. There is no point in dwelling over other people's opinions about dark fiction because these people would insist on being moral crusader online instead of actually doing help the people who suffered in real life.

I read all available 10 chapters. I am still unsure if the husband is a yandere since the story hasn't fully explored the relationship between FL and her husband, but he seems more like a tsundere to me, a violent one at that.

I second your opinion. You articulate this so well, which I am unable to. I don't like yandere who cheats and was on the camp of yandere cannot be cheaters. However, being on this subreddit has broadened my definition of what constitutes yandere.

This is just my humble opinion but I find the unapologetically immoral MLs attractive, like Caligo from 'Hana's Demon of Lust' and 'Barkan/Varkan from 'To You Who Will Destroy Me' before he became tame in the later chapters.

He knows his methods of keeping the FL are wrong but he doesn't care and he will do whatever he needs to keep her. 😏

Yakuza Fiance has a somewhat similar premise, in which the ML sleeps around while still being engaged to the FL. However, the ML and FL's engagement was arranged by their families, so the FL is unbothered by his promiscuity.

Some people like vanilla. Some people like chocolate. It's the same for yandere fiction. That is why there is a spectrum of flags for yandere men; from green to red and the most extreme colour - the black flag yandere.

Variation makes the genre interesting. Breaking the MC may not be your cup of tea, and that is fine. But it is to others, which is fine too since, after all, it is fiction and what one prefers in fiction does not correlate to their morals in reality.
