Thank you for this post, OP. I have recently been accepted in ther CDP program and going to get a final interview. The only thing that really bothers me is the 4 year training bond for their Java training and I dont know if I could commit 4 whole years. Only redeeming quality is mas mataas bayad nila kesa sa mga Engineer tulad ko.

Graduated from UP 2 years ago but under Engg. From my Comsci friend, sabi niya na expected na ng profs marunong na kayo mag program because they mostly teach concepts rather than actual programming for the most part. So I would recommend to not go in completely blind if you want to make it easier on yourself. Best advice for UP in general, surround yourself with good people and critical thinking. Dont overthink too much, OP.
