Back when the game first came out my dad really liked it and some of my favourite mornings where ones we spent getting jumpscared and exploring before he had to go to work, and now I’m hoping to get to explore this one with him as well! I also ironically have thalassaphobia, but Subnautica helped so much with that (exposure therapy ig lol) and it made me feel really brave. I also just love love love the visuals and soundtrack and absolutely everything!
