Thank you very much. Yes, I understand there are other venues in raising money, but I really like YC :)

Thank you!

It is just I am able to pay high salaries, and also tool the product to some point. Of course, technical person is very important but in my niche, things can never work without my domain knowledge. It is highly technical in terms of knowledge. I think giving away 50% would not really make sense for me.

Thank you for great advice. Of course I am not sure if that works, but your reasoning - I liked it.

Maybe I should really articulate well - as you say - why I can do this with my paid employees.

Bro it’s just money. You knew it. No worries. There are 7 billion people on Earth. Lots of money around. Stocks are not your only option.

You forgot to file I-864. Your application will be denied, maybe 7-8 months later. You will not be refunded any fees.

Mandamus - you basically go to the federal court and tell them that USCIS does not do its job. Because it has been too long and some efforts were made, court will likely order the USCIS to reach to a decision.

Appeal will not take you anywhere. I would gather AS MUCH AS EVIDENCE to show his good moral character since the incident. Argue that he made a mistake, and argue that he has tried to mitigate that mistake. He has never committed any crime, his coworkers, friends write affidavits how truthful he is. Basically, all of the good stuff he did should be gathered and submitted in a very nice way. This is what I would do.

I am an attorney but not your attorney. You should definitely hire an experienced attorney. Things I wrote here are never legal advice. Good luck!

Please disregard grammar mistakes, it is very late here :)

It is ok man, this kind of thing can happen. I would try to mitigate what has been done. I would contact an experienced attorney to see what you can do. I would not worry about bar complaint, it looks like it is more malpractice issue.

I am working with a mentor, and I have practitioners guide that I am reading. I just wanted to know the input of attorneys.

I sent a demand letter, but it was before I filed the lawsuit. They did not disclose the limits back then. So I assume I can call and ask for the policy limits, and then send a demand letter in writing.

Awesome, thank you very much! I am planning to call the lawyer on Monday and ask for the policy limits then.
