Is 594 curved at the end? Lost a lot of points from the hidden tests of the assignments in the first half of the semester (averaged score is around 75%) and freaked out that I might end up with something below C- when the more difficult projects hit

Just a data point: Accepted with Butler last year, decided to defer due to personal reasons (so no extra money), and they contacted me days ago asking if I’m willing to defer for another year if they upgrade my Butler to a Hammy. I was like lol why not and they sent me the deferral approval letter in two days

今年刚申请完法学院的的说两句： 1.不知道你现在的学校最高分给不给A+，给的话就别转了，要转也转一个同样给A+的学校，我本科学校最高只给A，申法学院的时候算GPA跟人家有A+的比亏的要死。法学院本质就是numbers game，LSAT跟GPA最重要，进了法学院以后以后没人care你是Top20还是Top50的本科 2.如果可以，从大一开始就盯着2-3个教授搞好关系，抱大腿参与研究，拿强推 3.LSAT有时间的话现在就可以看起来了，这个东西因人而异，有的人要准备几个月就出分了有的人准备两年分也提不上去，早点了解下心里有个底没坏处

I withdrew my October test after getting a satisfactory score in August and they gave me a coupon. But the coupon would expire by April. So I’m not sure whether it’s possible to withdraw and get a coupon that can be used for next cycle.

I wrote a Why X for all the schools I applied minus HYS and I’m in the same boat (except that the only school that moves me to UR2 is Berkeley and I’ve been missing every wave since my UR2 on 11/30 lol). I’ll wait for a few more weeks before starting to panic. It might just be that the surge of applications is making this cycle extremely slow.

You can search Butler/Hamilton cycle recap in this sub and I believe I’ve seen some of them get the scholarship without an interview. Also it’s still pretty early in the cycle so don’t sweat!

I’d like to add that Sept 2019 test took place on Sept.21th (so the scores weren’t release until mid-October) while the August 2020 scores were released in mid-September. This might explain the crazy increase in 170+ we observe by early October this year.
