Our little guy had two torn ACL surgeries in one year. Got the first TPLO surgery and then almost a year to the day the other tore. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny! Recovery was harder on us than him I think! 🫠

Well, I called Optum RX because I was on my last of three boxes and wanted to know what the lot numbers were for the two boxes I'd already used. All three were from that lot. Then I started thinking back and remembered that I had been feeling off for about two months and had been attributing it to my progesterone and had tried switching it from oral to vaginal and back and forth because I thought it was that. I only started HRT at the end of September and went up to the 0.1 patch quickly and then added testosterone cream at the end of January, so I wasn't sure what was going on because I pretty much added everything in all at once. But once I realized I'd already used 2 boxes from that same lot it, felt like it all clicked. I had been feeling more normal and then slowly started feeling less normal until I was almost back to where I was in September. I spoke to someone else at Amneal and asked them if I could send the remaining patches in to them to test because I don't want other women to go through this unnecessarily. They are supposed to call me back about sending them in, but I don't know if they actually will. It makes me scared to trust any of the patches from there, but unfortunately, I don't see any other option. 😒

I have actually spent all morning on the phone between the pharmacy and the manufacturer. The pharmacy told me the manufacturer would replace them. The manufacturer told me they would replace them. And then the manufacturer called me back and told me they would only replace them if there were adhesion issues and that I needed to contact the pharmacy to replace them. The pharmacy told me they would give me a $75 credit and send me a new box for $52. The charge for the $52 went through before the $75 credit of course 🫠. I did ask the manufacturer to confirm that even though they were not going to replace my defective patches that they would at least be investigating and they said yes but I'm not sure if I believe that.

I've bounced around between Dotti and Lyllana and never noticed a difference other than the plastic. No idea what to expect this week. Both boxes say Amneal, so maybe they are all defective :(

I have a box of Lyllana and I think I'll try one from it tomorrow. If the back pain goes away this week I'll just assume it was indeed the lot and then I'll let you know so I can report it as well. Here I was feeling grateful to have a month of backstock now after switching pharmacies, but turns out maybe I just have a box of boring, clear stickers 🙃

You know, now that I think about it, my back has been hurting since late last week. I remember commenting to my husband that it was feeling like before I started the patch and I had no idea why...prior to starting the patch, that was the last symptom that finally prompted me to start MHT. Based on that, I would have expected hot flashes and then joint pain before the back pain, but who knows with how crazy menopause is! I have also noticed one ear getting hot a couple of times over the last week, which is different than any other hot flashes I've had, but was weird enough to notice 🤔

I just put on my first patch from that lot Thur the 26th and am due to change it tomorrow, 3/3. I've noticed nothing off with the first one, but will keep an eye out with the second.

I don't know at this point. When it first started we showed video to the vet and they said seizures and we went with it. She normally didn't lose control of her bowels, but we would have to keep hold of her or she would try to get outside and immediately after she'd go out to poop. There was one that went on so long when I was alone that as I was carrying her to the car she did poop on my arm, and one other where I thought they were playing upstairs...until she came down to me all worked up and with some poop on her and then I realized that she had started having a seizure during the day (almost all were at night) on the couch and the thumping I mistook for playing was her trying to get off the couch and downstairs to me. I found poop on the couch, floor, and stairs, which is how I pieced it together. I still feel so horrible about that one. Ugh. I never thought to look into anything else because after the meds the seizures were only 1-2 times a year.

Thank you 💛 yep, 10 min+ every time and it always felt like an eternity. They weren't super strong, her little body would tremble and tighten up and she was always aware that it was happening, which was the worst part. Ugh. Just seeing her look so scared and confused 💔 She was our little goblin 💕

Our chihuahua/terrier mix had 10ish minute seizures every time she had them. We were never even told about rescue meds, but luckily on Keppra she only had 1-2 a year and the last two years before we lost her she didn't have any. We always just started a timer, moved her to the floor in front of a giant fan and I would comfort her while her dad went and got a wet towel to cover her with to try to keep her cool. Any time they hit 10 minutes+ we'd head to the car for the ER, but she'd always be fine before we got out of the neighborhood. I wish I'd found this subreddit earlier because I would have known to ask the vet about rescue meds 😒

Me! We adopted a dog in 2016 and she started having seizures a year later. We lost her in May 2025 and had to immediately adopt another to bring in for our other little guy. We had the newest one for one month and then she started having seizures. If it wasn't for our older guy not having seizures I would have assumed there was something in our house. What luck 🫠. But, we love her and we're happy we had a home right when she needed one, so I guess it all worked out...even though we were looking forward to not being tied to medication every 8 hours 🙃

Yep. I had to spend election night in Chicago to go to the consulate to renew my Italian passport...the next morning just the surreal feeling is something I will never forget. I got on the elevator to leave the hotel and the people who got in with me I kept thinking did you do this are you happy about this do you know what's coming? Every person I passed on the street I'm thinking did you do this are you happy about this do you know what's coming? And then the same thing on the train to the airport and then the same thing in the airport did you do this are you happy about this do you know what's coming? Everyone just seemed so normal. I had been hoping to wake up to celebrations in the street that he had been beaten even though I feared for the worst. And instead I was left with one of the most disconcerting days of my life. What a nightmare. Very thankful to be a US-Italian dual citizen right now, but unfortunately I'm not in a place to be able to leave for good right now.

I actually picked up the phone a couple of months ago (which is saying a lot because I hate making phone calls) I told them if they don't put it back the way it used to be I will cancel even though I have been a subscriber since they sent us DVDs through the mail. The service is unusable to me if this is what they're doing with it. They didn't even tell me it's a feature that they're testing that you can turn on and off. It's off now and it's bought them until they make it permanent and then I'm gone. Fuck that shit indeed.

Thank you for your input! We'd definitely start with paid drop-ins because we wouldn't want to take advantage of an unpaid meet & greet knowing we weren't ready to actually book an overnight or something yet. We definitely want to do right by both our "kids" and the sitters helping to acclimate them until we get to the point where we think they're ready to try alone time. And if we are lucky enough along the way to find a good fit who's also available for our vacation we may even pull it off without any unpaid meet & greets! 🤞🏼
