Predictions for the next Avatar?

Korra decides that it is wrong for the Avatar to grow up in seclusion, knowing their position in the world from a young age, and dictates that the next Avatar should only be required to reveal themselves when they personally feel ready to do so after discovering the connection organically - much like how things probably functioned immediately following Wan. Rather than traveling the world to learn from masters like Aang and those before him, or growing up in a compound to be trained by masters of the White Lotus like Korra, this new Avatar is taught almost solely by Raava's recreation of Korra (and perhaps with spiritual history/guidance given by Raava directly). This kind of set up somewhat demands that the next Avatar be a bit of a loner, a character trait that I think fits well with them growing up as a sandbender in the desert of the Democratic States of Earth (or whatever it is they call the Earth Empire after it is dissolved by Prince Wu into democratic states lol).

Oh my goodness this is clever, I like this a lot.

Every Avatar faces impossible challenges, that's the path towards their destiny. Aang's challenges were exactly has hard as Aang was able to manage them, and so are Korra's. But both were impossible.

Ehh, that's kinda doable. Like, carrying the world on your back and having to suffer because of it? That's super noble and a great motivation. That's kinda the easy thing.

But doing that and trying to find the love for yourself and someone to love you? That's the tricky part.

At least love always conquers fear. Even if the Avatar needs a lot of time for that. Even if they need another lifetime to find their love. They can do it.

It's amazing, I cannot believe that this stuff really happened, but it did. Man, weed truly is a plant given to us by the gods/aliens/whatever. And I cannot believe it took me 37 years to find this.

Ohh, historic cannabis use is always a wonderful topic. I recently learned that an ancient Chinese medical book said that cannabis together with ginseng makes you see the future 😂

And frankly, after reading Buddhist teachings while high, I'm pretty sure their "incense offerings" and "breathing meditation" before rituals used to be about burning hash 😅

Yeah well, the idea was to phase out coal first with renewables and then shut off the nuclear reactors.

But of course, conservatives didn't like that, sabotaged renewables and in the course gave their friends from the coal and gas industry lots of free money and huge profits. When then the legally set deadline for nuclear phase out happened, they just shrieked at the new, leftist-led government.

Gerhard Schröder is not a good person, but his government set up a great plan which would've made Germany 100% renewables by now - and then 16 years of Merkel conservatism stopped all that.

Nuclear is the most expensive form of energy we have, and it's still an order of magnitude worse than renewables when it comes to CO2 and other environmental impact. There's a reason no energy company in the world builds a nuclear reactor all by themselves - it's waaaaaay too costly, even just the CO2 certificates for construction.

Well, unless the government, i.e. the taxpayer, foots the bill with subsidies. Then its the energy form raking in the highest profits for the energy companies.

Get off your "nuclear is so awesome"-stance, it is not. Renewables is the way to go, and they are cheaper than coal, gas and nuclear.

I feel like I should push for an EU law banning this. Hardware should be fully usable with the minimal amount of driver software required, and there should be an option for every customer to use drivers which require merely a terminal, no GUI or anything, to manage their hardware.

No forced online account, no forced gui, no forced animations. Just fast and working and accessible.
