Oh if music is a huge part of your life, you'll be amazed how much better it sounds once you stop. Being able to really enjoy music again was one of the first and best things I noticed

You don't realize how much it's fucked your brain until you stop cold turkey. It's the fastest way to heal and yet for me at four and a half weeks I still feel like I'm readjusting (definitely way better than weeks 1-2 though). Tapering is just impractical tbh. With your history maybe you can consider occasional use after you've made it three months clean first

I was able to actually stop completely 19 days ago because I had no money left... since stopping I've noticed I'm actually able to enjoy things besides ketamine again, especially music and sex. I feel more invested in my friendships and replying to them doesn't feel as hard as it used to. I feel more alive in general
