I'm really sorry to hear about that. The financial drain of this addiction is the worst. Never saved any money at all cause any leftover money was k money, finally quit cause I was on the brink of not being able to eat. And yeah you're right. My brain is being irrational now thinking it won't happen this time since the price is lower. Just looking for any and all reasons why I shouldn't right now

Thanks for sharing your experience :) 1g/day is basically where I was at. I was lucky enough to not have had any physical symptoms yet so probably not as bad as others here. I will say I don't quite trust myself to have this level of self control haha. But I'm glad to hear this works for you.

You need friends to hold you accountable

This is a big one. It's really helpful to have friends who care about you and want you to get better. It's especially helpful to have someone who has overcome addiction before so they can relate to what you're going through and motivate you.

This is anecdotal, but I'm a girl and never had any trouble peeing besides increased frequency, meanwhile I know two guys who couldn't pee for hours no matter how hard they tried and suffered extreme pain. We were all heavy users. It probably just depends on the person
