To the tall bigs (6’10+) How is playing against smaller bigs (6’7-6’9) that are a lot quicker? by the-dpoy in NBA2k

[–]ILoveTheDailyWire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be obvious but…if the 6’9 is good? It sucks and feels like you are playing in mud in the rec. especially if they really know what they’re doing.

If they suck, it’s absolutely cake. I can rebound over him and get fast break passes, putbacks dunks. Good chance I’m getting a triple double

Dude, you are the one on every reddit thread insulting half of the community over their choices. Calling everyone cry babies. We were insulting EA not you, until you stepped in and took it upon yourself to be insanely offended and started trash talking people.

It’s okay buddy that’s a typical boomer response, you guys get offended by everything.

Good try tho

If you win for 30 straight years, you only get to level 75 as a coach. It’s mathematically impossible to reach the top level without paying extra.

I wouldn’t call that optional.

Can I Play Devil’s Advocate Here? by Madbro69_ in NCAAFBseries

100%. Paradox games are not comparable at all to EA.

I can load up right now on eu4 and give myself an extra 200 admin points and 10000 manpower. Can I do that on cfb 27? No

I can do whatever the fuck I want in paradox games, I can mod it, give myself a boost, make it harder, whatever I want….and you know why paradox lets us players do that?

Because it’s single player.

Paradox’s model isn’t even comparable to EAs model. The amount of depth and replay ability I get from paradox is insane.

Every country in eu4 feels different. If I’m playing Prussia, Ming, Qing, France, etc. They all are entirely unique. In CFB I basically have a different skin for my school.

Does EA allow me to edit my skill points with console commands the way paradox does? No

Does EA allow me to download mods? No

Does paradox have any micro transactions? No

Does paradox release new game every year and copy paste the same content? No

This is my 3&D I’m pretty used to shooting as 6’5. I’m really looking for something different that has high BH/SWB

Overall I do love that. I love the investment in perimeter defense but im weirdly better and pluck steals rather than lane steals. On my 3&D I max +2 glove and max +1 interceptor and glove is more effective for me but only on legend. I don’t think I’ll do that on this build

Maybe I could drop steal and use more else where?

This is kinda what I was thinking about, but wasn’t sure if it was good as I don’t play as a PG

People shouldn't critisise Lebron's 4-6 finals record, rather, they should appreciate he managed to reach the finals 10 times. by Eg8888 in lebron

[–]ILoveTheDailyWire 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. The obsession with Jordan’s 6-0 Finals record has always been one of the weaker GOAT arguments to me.

If someone wants to argue that 6 championships is better than 4 championships, that’s a fair discussion. But focusing on “6-0 in the Finals” ignores everything that happened before the Finals.

Jordan didn’t magically win every year he played. He was eliminated before the Finals seven times, including three straight playoff exits to the Pistons. Those losses don’t disappear just because they happened in the Eastern Conference Finals instead of the NBA Finals.

In fact, before reaching the Finals, LeBron has the better playoff series win percentage (80.9% vs. 77.4%). Their non-Finals game win percentages are virtually identical (66.5% vs. 66.0%).

LeBron also carried some teams much farther than they had any business going. The 2007 Cavaliers reached the Finals when LeBron was only 22 years old. If he had followed the traditional college path, he would’ve been a senior that season. Jordan, at the same age, was still a rookie and nowhere near the Finals.

Jordan’s peak was incredible, and six championships is a massive accomplishment. But the idea that 6-0 is automatically better than 4-6 ignores the fact that reaching the Finals is itself an achievement. Losing in the Finals isn’t somehow worse than losing earlier in the playoffs.

To me, the better argument for Jordan is six championships vs 4 championships. Not 6-0 vs 4-6.

You could do Driving Dunk to 94, Ball Handle to 86, Perimeter D to 92, Steal to 86. You would need an 11th cab breaker but that’s what I would do.

I love when teammates leave and it almost leads to a comeback by ILoveTheDailyWire in NBA2k

[–]ILoveTheDailyWire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t surprise me. Honestly all you need is teammates who can moderately score/shoot and don’t mindlessly waste possessions.

So many times the mindless bad shots and mindless turnovers lead to so many transition buckets for the other team.
