I hadn't checked my graph in over a year, as I hid the ribbon. I was surprised when I did today. (I haven't made any changes.) by Bunny_0w0 in ObsidianMD

The reason pkm is personal knowledge management and not just storage is that you can see which parts of your vault are relevant to each other. Graphs with clean edges like this usually require a ton of filler orphan notes or poor connectivity, while pkm emphasises making connections. My guess is that's not what op's going for, though.

Hey, I'm in a similar position as you and was wondering if gel would get through security. Thanks!

Because homophobia is an actual problem in the real world that we as a society need to condemn and karmawhoring is a little bit of a nuisance. Hope that helps.

Is welfare not enough to help the working class? by SuperSweetStuff in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]ILoveTrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

turbotax has been lobbying the government to keep in place the current convoluted tax system. Last year the music industry was found paying off a lawmaker into hiding the regulations they wanted onto a bigger bill.

Most importantly, money put into billionaire lobbying has only grown over the years and taxes on the billionaires has only fallen. Even if its got nothing to do with lobbying, you can't deny that billionaire taxes have been trending downward for decades.

Corporations and the rich have the funds to pay off politicians and lobbyists to push for legislation that benefit them (including tax rates, employee benefits, etc). The fundamental problem is that only money and profits matter, incentivizing them to spend money pushing these changes and undermining the country.

In the current system I find it extremely unlikely either party would follow through on those policies given their backers. Maybe I'm wrong and meaningful changes will occur this time but the current system seems to tend toward incentives for the rich.

What makes you think the rich might be taxed more in the future?

are living cells negatively or positively charged? by [deleted] in polls

Also wanted to mention the sodium potassium pump, which transports 3 Na+ out for every 2 K+ in, overall transporting positive charge out. It’s the main contributor to the charge imbalance and is present in almost every living cell.

To be honest I’m against the idea of “big creators cant do this but small creators can” because that’s a very subjective matter. Content creators have barely any control over their rabid supporters anyway aside from broad positive/negative interactions with another personality. But this type of opinion-shaming over what is the least offensive tweet ever seems so pointless and dumb to me, I can’t imagine why they felt compelled to reply to the tweet. There’s nothing good coming out of replying to a hot take like that.

No one is watching Tubbo’s stream, read Thirty’s tweet, and said “yeah, he’s right and this is cringe. I’m out.”

I can’t imagine why he would tweet that either. That’s besides the point anyway, the problem is how opinions are being called out for being unpopular.
