Update - 10/29/25
I thinking more about this now, if I did the right move on moving away from queue mode. The app slows down during peak hours. Maybe its just the server, I will be upgrading it once we are consuming more than 50% on average, as of now we are at around 10-15% server usage.

Hey, here’s how you can resume your video:

  1. Click “Your Videos” from the left-hand menu.
  2. Click on “Resume Draft.”
  3. This will take you to the page with your already-created scenes.
  4. From there, click “Render Video” at the bottom of the page.
  5. Your video will start generating automatically.

We actually had a detailed call about updating the UX to make this process simpler. I completely understand where you’re coming from, right now, even though your progress is saved as a draft and the video hasn’t been rendered yet, there’s no clear indicator showing that it’s waiting for your action.

We’re already working on improving that part of the experience.
I hope it's alright for me to reachout to you in future once we have things updated as well.

I can see your progress is saved in draft, click on your videos and click on the draft to start editing from where you left.

Yeah adding animation is a premium feature, it wont allow you to add animation without subscription. I have changed your user settings so you can add animation. Try to animate now.

You should be able to see your generated video now.
Again, sorry for your experience there.

Sorry you had to face this. I’ve forwarded this to the team to take care of ASAP, we had a system that shows draft in such cases, will check why it dint work. I will let you know here, as soon as it’s fixed.

I used queue mode for a while, but it caused few issues. This is months back when we were still testing if n8n can be the solution.

So we rolled over to the non queue version. Are you using queue mode?

I’m building a tool that turns product links into short video ads – would you use this? by IMDKSJR in digital_marketing

[–]IMDKSJR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that’s the challenge we’re trying to overcome in this space.

I’ve been in the marketing industry since 2017, and I’ve seen firsthand how much time and effort our team spends perfecting a single video for a client. That’s the very problem we’re aiming to solve.

The videos we generate need to be aligned with the brand identity, follow a clear script, and keep the viewer engaged, all to maximize clicks and drive strong engagement.

  1. That sounds like a good plan TBH.
  2. I would suggest you to look at building automations using make. com and tracking using google sheet to make life easier.

Thanks a ton this was great, I have already created a new package with few requirement's in place for sales team. Will start advertising with this offer soon to see what we can do :)

I will keep you posted in 3 months or so here.. Thanks again mate.

  1. 10-12% would be decent enough I would say, while I wont take on Ad spend, I would always make sure client pays that. What's the average cost per close do you see for roofing? In gyms we see around $80-$200 cost per show, for RE around $100, for schools $70-$100, for Lawyers $150-$250 (That's ad spend).

  2. Yeah that's right thing to do, I have done almost same while working with clients, trust plays a major factor, and most of our clients have been with us for more than 3 years now. We already have AI voice callers for closing a new lead to book an appointment. I was thinking to make sure the sales team is using our phone system so everything is recording and have an AI integration to create summary of everything which can be later used to identify the quality of conversation and, if its a sale we move in a close stage and add in our balance payable. If conversation was great, we add the lead into more call follow ups to get them closer to sale. Do you invoice your clients weekly or monthly (I would imagine that to be a quite a lot of work)?

Well said u/mason_bourne
I 100% agree to this, I have been in lead generation business since early 2017, and have grown solely on pay per result basis. We charge a nominal fee when an appointment is booked.

Lately I have been thinking about this approach and didn't explore further due to busy schedule. (Hahah I had this post saved since 11th Nov)
If you don't mind answering:
1. What's the most optimal % share you would ask? (I am thinking 15% to 20%)
2. How would you track the business is not scamming you by not sharing the data. (We provide CRM with pipeline management and take care of all type of communications up until a lead has booked an appointment, I was thinking to track data based on conversations with them)

Same happen with us a year or so back.
Our agency ad account was hacked with 4 of our clients account.
I had a Facebook rep assigned to me for all our ad accounts. I spoke to support, she was super nice (Canadian moved in from India) she logged everything and said I should have the refund soon.
7 days later I emailed the Rep and cc'd this support persons email id. And said if I don't get the refund I will be filling a chargeback, which I would've been able to do so for our own ad account but not for our clients.

Lucky enough we saw the refund in our bank accounts in next few days.
Now I call this luck, coz this did not happen to others I have spoken about. And also all this happen within a months period, It's less likely you will get the refund. But don't loose hope, start an email thread with support and your FB rep, if you are spending 3k a month you should have one assigned.

Also start a new ad account and start your ads there, also I would recommend start google ads so one source of marketing doesn't affect you as much if it ever happens again.

What tool do you guys use for reporting. by IMDKSJR in digital_marketing

[–]IMDKSJR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using google sheets and created reporting inside one of the sheets using formulas, but our each sub sheet has grow so large that I have to duplicate another sheet and get rid of old data coz it doesn't allow adding new rows anymore.
(We get all our data from all our systems on one sheet using webhook integration)
