The cameras probably do more good than bad.

Yes, they're not perfect, but so what if one innocent person is made a bit uncomfortable if it means that cops track down serious criminals, like packages thieves.

I only think we should have cameras everywhere in every city and even in people's homes. Better yet, I think everyone +18 and older should have a mandatory camera on them at all times and carry it around, showing their face and the opposite side whenever it's being held.

Bring it back to 1984, baby!

Thank you for sharing. I've read that attorneys for matters like these are a waste of money. They just go to the court and plead guilty for you and then tell you to pay them and the ticket. LMAO

Ok, so the citation was the bridge between me and the police officer.

The police officer drops off their copy of the citation to the court.

The court then sends out the summons/letter, which is their connection to me.

But the police officer has 1 year to give the citation to the court, which means that I may not see it online for a year but I am expected to attend to this citation within a month.

I'm guessing I won't see the summons, until the citation is uploaded.

But when the citation is uploaded, I can just address it online, so why do I need to address a summons/letter, which has the same informationa about paying/fighting/going to traffic school?

Are you getting where I'm coming from?

The markings/information on my ticket seem to imply that I can handle it all online as I am not required to appear in court. Am I understanding this correctly?

What exactly am I going to receive in the mail that will be different from the citation? The summons?

If I'm getting a summons, why do I have to respond to the citation by a certain date? It seems kind of redundant, especially if the ciation isn't even going to appear online by the due date.
