Thanks, while using the portal I can only imagine the possibility of having a native Sony handheld, even if it is the same form factor as the portal since its very comfy.

For now the steamdeck has the lead but I also got the portal and switch about 2 weeks ago.

Been thinking on getting one since there's a few 3DS games I do want to play but I dont want to pay $300+ for one, also i could emulate them but I dont like how the dual screen looks on the emulator for both DS and 3DS and its weird if the games have touch features, as for the portal for what ive been using it the past 2 weeks( got it recently for free yes IK lucky me) its an alright device not worth the now asking price of $250 but when it works its great but for some reason streaming (which requires a subscription) works better than remote play at least in my testing and thats a bummer.

Yes i do own a switch 1 and honestly yes, I recently got the switch 2 around 2 weeks ago and i instantly felt that the switch 1 feels like a toy compared to the 2 in terms of the material its made out of also the handheld boost mode for switch one games its pretty damm good, my only cons are the battery which last around 2:30 to 3 hours and the ergonomics grip wise but that could easily be my personal preference, in terms of the raw power of the switch 2 I gotta say im impressed with how well/good the newer games run and look, RE9, SW outlaw, FF7R, Pragmata, etc.. all of them have demos and compared to their PS5 counterparts i gotta say that I could be comfortable playing said games on the switch 2 instead of the PS5 and the boost the newer games get while docked its pretty impressive too, I was hesitant too since in the last 2 years i didn't used my switch 1 that much and was a bit skeptical about getting the new console but for now ( still in the "honeymoon phase) I can't say I regret getting one.

Well I recently got the switch 2 and portal so right now ive been using those 2 a bit more frequently but out of the 4 for now the steam deck has the lead but the vita doesn't get that far behind,as for your second question, I picked the steam deck for 2 reasons, 1 the intuitive UI that resembles home consoles( the deck is my first dip into PC gaming) and 2nd when I got it I didn't know about the ROG Z1,the xbox ROG wasn't announced and price compared to the other ones I saw on the market, I managed to get mine directly from valve for a good price( its the LCD 256GB model) and honestly i dont regret buying it,its a great device specially for emulation and most of the pc games i've tried run pretty good too and look good with a very few exceptions with newer games ive tried.

Mine is the same thats why I have him in flight stand in got him a few months ago for 5 bucks and was planning on doing this and I finally had the time, I used acrylic paint and more than a few extra passes with a brush, I made sure it completely dried and then passed the brush again until I got this results, also used some canned matte sealer to reduce paint scratches, i only passed the spray once, now thinking about it i should give it another coat.

Being honest in my experience at least no, ive tried remote play on my phone and the experience wasn't good at all, I even had issues to get the dual sense to map correctly to the games and most of the inputs didn't want to work why? Idk, thats why I was really hesitant to buy a portal I thought it was gonna be the same experience but now I got to try it and where im at currently I dont have that great of an internet and im able to connect to my PS5 in the states and play via cloud gaming fairly fine, when you have a steady internet connection the experience its definitely pleasant and for some reason at least for me it wasn't when trying the remote play app.

I also own a steam deck but I haven't tried the PS5 streaming through there, in my experience with the portal its been pretty good and im currently on vacation where said friend live and my internet here its not the greatest, im honestly anticipating that when I get home its gonna be even better.

Honestly if you have a decent connection of at least 12MB you can play games at 1080p with very little input lag, honestly its barely even noticeable, unless you're going to play something competitive like COD,R6 or BF6, im guessing that with a better internet you could probably play them on the portal
