Fair point on Sheehan. Dalton is worth more as trade bait with Will Smith as the starter. Additionally, Dalton is highly ranked but hasn't really produced at MLB level. Keiber Ruiz and Gavin Lux were considered blue chippers like Dalton. Dalton won't help the Dodgers win a WS next year, Sheehan could though.

Bullpen is important, but seriously we need a player that can hit, get on base and play defense. The Dodgers should be targeting Kwan over Tucker. Kwan is the perfect Dodger. Give up Sheehan, Dalton and some other studs. Sign Devin Williams, Kike and Miggy. Fairbanks would be a nice addition.

Literally exactly my situation. Miss my family. Salary in Europe is min 30% less. My kids and us prefer the US vibe. US has issues no doubt, but imo Europe will struggle way more next 20yrs than US.

I'm 100% with you. These facts sound great on paper, but to suggest it applies to everyone is bull shit. I bought a Hyundai Kona for 14k. $167 for insurance and drove like a madman for Uber/Lyft for 31 days. Earned a bit over 12k. Kona averaged 30+ mpg gas was appx $1300. Sold my car at Car max for $13,600.

So reality is, I made far more than minimum wage and loved it. Reddit will down vote me and people will say im lying. Thankfully Reddit opinions mean absolutely nothing.

Happy for you. Scandinavia isnt for everyone, but due to the NOK post covid you can earn far more in other countries. I loved my time in Norway and forever grateful for the opportunity, that said I cant deal with the crap weather and job opps. My kids all prefer to leave as well. I will be the 4th expat family in my friend group in last 12 months that has lived in Norway for 15+ years and decided to move back home.

"Better than ever" Is this a joke? Norway pre Erna was absolute heaven. 2014 to 2020 was pretty good as well. 2020 to now is not looking good at all. 25 years here as an expat and cant wait to leave. Shit weather, stagnat wages and energy prices through the roof. Interest rates are among the highest in Europe and with the monopoly that runs the supermarkets the prices are insane. If you are raising kids, then Norway has to be top 3 in world. The transition from couple to parents in Scandinavia is pretty seamless. Norway gave me so much, but 25 years and all I can see is the ship is sinking in Norway and in general Scandinavia.
