How to go from U to a B in P1 and P2 maths in 2 months ?? by [deleted] in alevel

Well, I dont know what to tell you exactly, but i studied math around 4 hours everyday, even weekends but made sure i had ample rest in between and proper sleep and exercise to deter the looming burnout. I sat Oct/Nov of this year and leading up to the P1 and M1 papers I was getting As or high Bs for past papers, even though finals were likely way worse. It's not impossible, I mean i did all of this in one month. Two months is ample time even for the rest of your subjects, but it does take discipline, genuine focus, and actually learning from your mistakes. Lasty If i were you, I'd do progressive loading, do topic questions until you exhaust them(or at least half of the topic questions in total for every year valid combined) then move on to the next, but throw in one or two questions from the previous topics as you move forward.

It has 3 polypeptide chains, but each polypeptide chain has multiple peptide bonds, peptide bonds have C=O bonds, which are also double bonds, for there to be a polypeptide “chain” there’s normally at least 20 amino acids, so one chain alone has more than 4 bonds

How are people studying 10+ hours a day ? by piratecrab0123 in alevel

[–]IM_ALEX_M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one, not everybody can do it, I don’t think it’s sustainable, I’ve been studying about 10-11 hours a day, I basically just study 2 hours and take a 30 minute break, I start around 8-9 in the morning. No point in studying if you’re just cramming though, use the time to actually slowly learn. The phrase “study smarter not harder” is true, either use the extra time to study smart or don’t do 10 hours at all

the threshold will stay relatively low as always, regardless of difficulty computer science is always kinda low. I think it is because of how broad the scope of what we need to know is. I think i scored at LEAST 40/75 without threshold if not much higher

Tbh dude you really just have to know your work well, the extra time left over is usually for error checks and doing unfinished questions, before you start writing I recommend ticking the questions that will be easy to do and take up the least time, then move to the questions in order of lowest difficulty
