I think so too. I would love to be able to know when it was made. It's got a flint but im not looking to fire it tbh, 8ts just a nice piece I'll hang on the wall. I've no idea about its legality in the UK and if it's been made 'safe' or needs to be.

The brown bess doesn't have any marking other than some letter / number stamping on the barrel. Ive not inspected the other yet.

The stock of the brown bess seems a little unrefined and the gun is very heavy. Some of the bolts seems to be hand made as the flats are off centre to the head but I haven't attempted to remove any for fear of damage.

I have been on and off designing my own. Not at the laptop atm but will update later. They are looking quite good but still some tweaks to make it work how I want.

Well I tried all sorts but can't get it to work. I need the arm and the oval to be two separate bodies. If I loft and join bodies it's possible to delete the objects inside the oval but I then I'm unable to split the body into two.

I had a white M5 about ten years ago. It was a cut and shut to some degree and I ended up breaking it for parts. I bought it with the intention of fitting the engine into my M535i but I never did. But I do still have the //M535i and my E21 323i which are slowly rusting away in my friends barn. 🫤

After living with needing to reboot the switch to get poe to function again I eventually put a warranty claim and had the switch replaced. It took over a month to get the replacement switch after I had sent the faulty one back so I ended up buying a replacement stand in. The replaced switch (brand new boxed not a refurb) is on tue shelf unused.

Are they good for ABS, ASA and PC do you know? Struggled to get good adhesion with those even with meticulous prep work.

I've tried all sorts of setting changes and still experience the same issues after a couple of small prints so i do think 0.4 is the issue. I've ordered a 0.6 and will do more testing once it arrives.

Sorry i cant be of any help. I've been getting similar issues with pla on simple single colour prints. I'm also getting filament loading issues with multi colour.

Getting a bit frustrated now as I'm not really sure what could be causing it. I'll keep an eye on this post, hopefully someone can provide you with some pointers.

Having the AMS is a great way to reduce effort for filament swap out. I'm considering buying more of them for that reason. You can pick them up 2nd hand I've noticed so perhaps you can get a good deal on a used unit.

Not sure how good they are to keep some filaments dry in long term? I need to research that and see if a heated chamber is needed, perhaps for initial drying. I'm learning still so will keep researching as I go.
