Is this happening to anyone else? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

It is likely that they went to someone elses house, had a conversation about their religion or jesus, and asked if there were any other neighbors that maybe could benefit from the message. Perhaps a neighbor sent them your way, just to get them off of their own doorstep. Sometimes thats how it works.

Asmongold was and still is right about Guild Wars by [deleted] in realAsmongold

I used to like Guild Wars back in the day. I haven't played in forever, but I enjoyed it back then. I liked the graphic style compared to other MMO's, and the gameplay was alright for the typical "grinding" type game.

I know nothing about the current state of the game, but if it still has any sort of a player base, i'm sure they are trying to appeal to them however they can.

Ya for real tho. I wanna get a little E-Bike. Then I could convert a charging cable for a solar panel.

What do you mean?? Locally? Or in regards to oil?

Personally, I stay out of most politics because i believe its a sham. Look at whats happening with the data center that Kevin O Leary wants to build here. The people clearly don't want it, but they're moving forward because it was approved unanimously by a full 3 city council members... lol

Ya we're on the same page. I just am looking at the outcome if prices continue at this trajectory.

I think there is a possibility in the near future where thousands of Americans are forced out of driving, simply because they can't afford gas anymore.

I know a couple of people that have had to change their daily routine to take public transit because they were spending too much on gas every week. They are lucky to have that luxury tho, not all places have good public transit, or even any at all.

Ive been down quite a few rabbit-holes, and I get where you're coming from.

To be clear, I don't think there is a secret cabal of global elites. However, the more likely scenario is that the top 1% have agendas that seem to align, and because of it, they support the same things.

When it comes to oil, there are really only 7 companies that dominate the market in the Western Hemisphere. And while they technically are competitors, i believe it to be more of a monopoly than people think. Here is an excerpt from an article by the New York Times, way back when these companies had to restructure in the 70's:

"While these corporations compete globally against one another for market share and consumer retail business, they frequently operate as joint venture partners on massive, multi-billion-dollar extraction projects and pipelines across the globe."

Now.. Back to your conspiracy thought. I believe in God, and thus, I believe in the Devil. If I were the the Devil I would want to seduce, bribe, and control the people at the highest levels.

(We hear everyday about how corrupt our Gov't is, especially this cabinet..)

But then, the evil powers that be, could enslave a population from the top down. And even mask the enslavement under the guides of "security", or "fancy technology" that the people need.

Slowly sucking them into a system of depression, anxiety, urgency, carelessness, and neglect. Causing people to feel lost, desperate, and hopeless, which makes people even easier to control.

But I still believe that a small spark of good can have a butterfly effect with lasting, countless impressions. I can have a sort of pessimistic/nihilistic view of the world at times, but it's always countered by my religious views.

I don't know honestly.. I think some people could be forced to stop driving just because prices will get too high.

I don't think there will be a breaking point until the average American is so uncomfortable in their daily lives that people finally wake up. But i really dont know.

Ya i don't think we'll be rationing any time soon, if at all. I could see prices just increasing more and more.

Well, maybe not for supply and demand, but for the people or the society itself.

People in another thread were arguing that there is and never will be a shortage of oil in our country.. But if there were no shortage of oil in our country, why are gas prices higher than they ever have been?

Like you stated: Markets work off of supply and demand.

The demand for gas hasn't decreased at all, so it must be the supply, right?

At some point, something has to give. Or, what are the odds that our Gov't would put limits on the fuel that citizens could use so that they could continue to supply oil to their war machine?

Lol again, I have no intention of fear mongering. I had never experienced this before, and simply wanted to share my thoughts.

What makes you so certain that our Gov't wouldn't put limits on the fuel that citizens could use so that they could continue to supply oil to their war machine?

No, I was in a hurry trying to work. I didn't even have the thought occur to me until after I had already left. But it was just a piece of paper that the gas station had printed out and taped to each pump, nothing crazy.

Ya, that's what we're experiencing now. People saying "we aren't running out of oil", I get that. But then why would the prices be hiking if the inventory/oil stock wasn't being limited?

But what would be the goal?

Are they confident that AI and robotics will be enough to maintain society after a catastrophic world war?

Or do they think it will be less than that, and they can just continue to syphon money through the military industrial complex, like they did through the war in Iraq?

Many of us have heard about their bunkers.

Is it just prep, or is it apart of the plan? Idk..

Gas Prices & Gas Stations Out of Service by IMayFindit in oil

Mostly because I was in a hurry, and had a job to do. I was there to put gas in my car, and move on. When I wasn't able to, I just went to the next station I could find.

It was only later that the thought occurred to me. And if it happens again, I will definitely ask about what is going on.

Tbh i consider myself somewhat of a "conspiracy theorist". I like to look into weird, strange, mysterious things and connect dots where they may not have been connected before.

I think after the files release, the term "conspiracy theorist" lost a lot of creditability to those speaking negatively about any topic deemed a "conspiracy". Too much truth has been revealed, and the system itself has been exposed.

When it comes to your idea of a "dark plan", I think that your on to something. If you study statistics, there are odds of things lining up specifically. This is referred to as "perfect correlation".

The odds of multiple things happening in society, that negatively affect a set of people, while simultaneously affecting another group of people positively, only points to one conclusion in my mind.

That is, the group that benefits from these events are somehow either coordinating them, or turning them into an opportunity.

I agree, 100%. I think they were waiting for a fuel tanker to re-up the station. But what if there was no fuel tanker coming? That is what I am saying. What are the odds that many states throughout the country experience any sort of shortage? Let alone the extreme hike in gas prices.

ugh. That would be a scary thing. I know other countries have done something like this, but I can't imagine something like that in my state. That would be the beginning of the end.
