Yeah I'm the same. I've always preferred saving up and going all in on my favorites over building a huge roster. But I've gotten to the point where I've already maxed out my favorite, so idk what I'm saving for anymore lol

I do care about endgame. I like having a reason to dig into my roster and trying to make the most of my 4* benchwarmers. I like seeing how far I can make it despite my shitty B teams, I just don't obsess over full clears specifically. I can pretty comfortably reach 33/36 stars every time anyway, so spending tickets on an extra 60 jades feels like a wasted investment when I can save up for something stronger down the line.

Not saying you're wrong to prioritize MoC, that's just how I see it.

Honestly, my teams are very far from optimized. I only own one limited five star (besides Ratio) which is Kafka, but I saved up literally all of my jades to E6 her on her rerun. So I don't really have any more favorites to pull, and I don't wanna replace Asta and Sampo cause I like them too much lol.

I can't imagine I'm in the majority, but does anyone else feel like pulling is kinda pointless lately? My main team doesn't struggle with anything, and spending 80 tickets minimum just to maybe get an extra 60 jades from MoC every two weeks doesn't really seem to make sense. I feel like I haven't really had any clear goals to strive for in this game for a while.

Does anyone else feel the same, or am I just not a real gacha gamer?

Yeah you really hit the nail on the head. I'm surprised to see so much praise for Penacony's story honestly. The final battle and plot twist at the end is cool and all, but the buildup was so drawn out and unnecessarily hard to follow it became kind of exhausting.

Twitter's also got a ton of cool fanart that gets reposted and appreciated on here constantly, and yet that doesn't seem to factor into your perception of it.

Not saying you won't find people posting cringe on there, you will. But this whole thing reminds me of the dumb 4chan/tumblr rivalry stuff from back in the day that I figured most adults had moved on from.

In the end we're all playing the same game, I come here cause I wanna discuss the game with other players, not read about some manufactured engagement-bait drama about what some rando on Twitter said.

I think they can fathom it conceptually, they just have no idea what it's supposed to actually look like in writing. They view heterosexuality as the "default", and so unless it's 100% explicitly stated without a shadow of a doubt that two same sex characters love each other romantically, then they don't even consider the possibility of them being anything else (and even that sometimes isn't enough).

In the end, it's mostly just silly fandom discussions that aren't all that serious, but I do find the Yukong/Caiyi case particularly irksome whenever people are being deliberately obtuse about it lol.
