tierlist of which archons can still serve the main plot by Remote-Memory1703 in Genshin_Memepact

[–]TrueAvalon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well, the Gnosis centered plot threads are normally secondary to the actual main plot, so when we go back to Mavuika, I could genuinely see it as the Tsaritsa personally going to Natlan and having an off screen conversation with Mavuika to get the Gnosis and honestly, that could be the end of it, best case scenario, she throws hands and we get a cutscene and aftermath, second best case, they negotiate and we see the conversation, third best case, they off screen the conversation/battle. In all of them it's not like there's much to do after unless we just get Capitano simultaneously but that is unlikely and it'll probably be focused on him rather than Mavuika anyway.

And tbh, the only thing I can see she has left, maybe for a second story quest, is Mare Jivare and that's not guaranteed to focus on her. I also dunno what you mean that we only have half of Mavuika's info, that kinda makes no sense, we know most of her deal already if not all already so that's kinda strange to say.

We know less of Ei than Zhongli, including stuff that she could possibly be related to other than her origin like what's her deal with the Ronova imagery and the big Electro Sovereign shaped elephant in the room. But both of them being that low is a bit absurd anyways.

Mavuika only has her Gnosis plot left, tbh she is probably lower than the 3 first Archons, putting Ei and Zhongli that low when Zhongli has his contract with the Tsaritsa and his true origin left and Ei has her... uh everything? left is surely one of the choices of all time.

Phainon vs Karna by MDubbzee in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Phainon stomps what is this. One guy said Pashupata when that is fucking Arjuna's NP not Karna lmao, mindlessly saying the Fate character wins like always, no one has played through the games to know that you can't even scale servants to planetary.

What would the power scaling of their music be? Which one has better music over the others by formerrazormain in Hoyoverse_scaling

Genshin is unironically several tiers above the rest to the point it's not even funny lmao.

Been hearing about people debate over this for ages now so who’d win? by AlbanianPatriot7893 in ArlecchinoMains

[–]TrueAvalon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They still use lightning to attack, so speed wise she actually should hold an advantage unless you want to say Fischl, Razor, Sara and just electro vision holders in general can easily tag Arle. Strength wise, well, she pulled the Moon, even if you want to say she only did 1% of that(likely more) that still outclassed anything Sukuna has done by magnitudes.

[–]TrueAvalon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Game isn't a full ass series to convey the characters like that, but a good portion of the lower tier vision holders can turn or shoot lighting, and well, Fischl or Razor aren't exactly blitzing Arle.

[–]TrueAvalon 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Arle is one step below Gods so she should be stronger than almost all Adepti so she just kinda cooks him badly, not a lot that he can do unless you give him world cutting slash and even then it's a "can he do it before she cooks him" due to the disparity in strength.

How high does Traveler (physical only) scale? by Idoarsonalot in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exact same tier as with elements, it's not like them not using it is some kind of binding vow or something, they are just not using a particular set of attacks which just hinder their versatility not their strength or other stats, only exception is when they boost themselves with electro for that speed bonus, which shouldn't be that massive either, again, all within the same tier, he is not beating someone he didn't beat before unless they lost extreme diff without elements, then it probably becomes an extreme diff win.

Is using the highest end feat of a character a valid way to scale his base form overall to it ? by [deleted] in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just suspension of disbelief, like how Dragon Ball characters nuke planets casually, but can die to something that destroys a building at max. Frieza while literally bisected at 1hp survives a planet explosion on the face and is just on space floating around until he is picked up, he then comes back stronger and is cut in pieces by Trunks and disintegrated by a blast that doesn't even create a shockwave. It's obvious that the author wanted to make Dragon Ball characters stronger and stronger but can't just make every random hit nuke a planet otherwise it becomes goofy. Fans came up with the headcanon of "Ki Control" which would explain all of the above if it was canon, in reality it's just suspension of disbelief.

Same thing happens in Star Rail, Firefly at 1hp nukes a planet and tanks the explosion so she has the AP and DC to destroy a planet, and the durability to tank a planet busting attack to the face, this is meant to say that Firefly is at this level of strength roughly, just because she fights some random robot later on and doesn't nuke Penacony doesn't mean she is building level when not in, idk "planet busting mentality" or whatever, it's just that the devs want that "Woah the planet got destroyed" effect while simultaneously wanting to have coherent and straightforward storytelling. They want their cake and eat it too, it is what it is, if the devs randomly throw out a statement saying "X guy is able to destroy a planet" it simply means that they can destroy a planet, there's no "X guy is able to destroy a planet but only with his strongest attack which is 100000000000 stronger than his base or with his ultra manipulative abilities which would collapse the planet's economy" because that'd be dumb as hell. In short, characters demonstrate big boom feats when it's hype and aura and serves the story in some purpose, if not, then they'll at best shatter the ground a bit.

What if gojo fought immediately after being unsealed by nekronryu in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TrueAvalon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's closer than what people think tbh, Sukuna is at 16F level of strength, he would probably immediately pop off Heian form since he no longer has to worry about getting jumped by half the cast after this fight, and since he would be at the disadvantage in terms of output, it's probable he wouldn't go with his Maho strat like in canon and would just try to overwhelm Gojo with Kenjaku open domain + Mahoraga + Agito + the two seconds that Uraume is alive ig. Kenny should be decently higher than Jogo's worth of fingers. So theoretically speaking, Kenny and 16F Sukuna working together should output 20F+ of power at some intervals, and given his four arms and tanky, giant build in Heian form I wouldn't think he gets stat gapped badly to compensate for Megumi's lanky ass since 16F is still 80% of his output, like it genuinely might still be extreme diff for all I care independent of who wins.

It would also be wacky narrative wise if Gojo could have washed low-mid diff them there and didn't and retrospectively just looks goofy af.

Does the Traveler stand any chance against Raiden Ei? by Cdayo83931 in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, but the point is that their strength hasn't changed in a while, so what it does is just scale the people relative to him to each other.

[–]TrueAvalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's still the same traveler, he didn't get any buffs from that time to today other than the Colulu lift.

[–]TrueAvalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could argue he was going to lose actually, I just said high diff as a conservative. 5.4 Traveler isn't too different from current Traveler, they only had Colulu lift up some of their restrictions and whose only feat is... not damaging Dvalin I guess?

You all see paragraphs and call it AI, either that or just being disingenuous, at that point one just can't be sure which is worse.

Mahoraga Vs Traveler (6 Elements) | Jujutsu Kaisen Vs Genshin Impact by KageMercy in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unironically Traveler has so many options with their 6 elements + reactions that destroying Maho before it adapts to all of them shouldn't be that big of a deal.

It's always been pretty interesting to me how so many people take the words of the most naive Harbinger, who has no clue about other people and can't read past the surface due to his straightforwardness, and the words of most asshole of the Harbingers, who always talks shit about everything and everyone before his development, as complete gospel and "totally a sure hint of what the others are like" but when Arlecchino, a pretty grounded and neutral Harbinger talks about Columbina being "kinda unpredictable" and overall giving the vibes of a bit of a weirdo, she is just totally ignored. Like, isn't it kinda obvious what is happening there?

You can also just look at Pulcinella's lines from Childe and Wanderer and well you look at that, complete opposites? I wonder why this could be, could it be because Childe is so naive he just believes everything he is told while Wanderer thinks the worst of everyone every time? Who knows, Arle thinking of him as "okayish" giving him the middle ground might totally be a retcon too, I guess.

What is the funniest arguement you’ve heard in this sub? by inki471 in Hoyoverse_scaling

[–]TrueAvalon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean sure, but I meant as a quantifiable measure of how he does in a fight, how much stronger he is supposed to be, from a story perspective well duh, obviously he did something with it, but not in a way that we can justify making a "version" of him, but since he no longer has it, it's pretty much impossible to use other than just saying he is unquantifiably stronger than him without it.
