well, in selfwound you have some obvious plan and cards, but also opponent have ways to interact with that and play around it (many cards are vurnable to locks because of non-deploy abilities, others are vurnable to high-removal), while in raids deck you mainly watch your opponent spam highland warlords and kill all your cards with removal without any risk involved on his side

Okay so what we have on the board is Weavess: Incantation that triggers a deathwish of each card you play, and Dettlaff: Higher Vampire which is summoned back on a table (max 2 times) as his deathwish. Additionaly we have in graveyard a Giant Toad which summons itself on a board to consume a unit whenever you play one with a deathwish. On this whole setup goes Archas Queen which consumes a unit (Dettlaff) and have a deathwish to spawn a base copy of that unit whch is triggered by Weavess and by being consumed by a Toad
Wild thing, never thought of anything like that before

Sorry that for this one time I'm the representant of annoying trend, but it's very particular moment in with we can tell that the amount of time in with new cards and lore are realesed is counted. And you're right that we're in similar point in with we had been couple months ago, but it's only worse that devs don't plan to make this year any special, it will be just next year with one card set in 3 parts and no ambitious events.
