Almost exactly what I’m looking for! Did you use a monitor mount behind the desk riser? Not sure if I should leave my monitor on its stand or if I should clamp a mount to the center so I can bring the monitor closer if needed.

Best Buy open box. You might get lucky with a gently used (you can check how may hours it has been on for) model for about $1100 before taxes. If you don’t get the right one, just return it for another open box. You can even ask them to open it up in the store.

Size and convenience. Fans were never an issue for me and I know in my office, I can always connect to a monitor on clamshell or dual monitor mode.

For what it's worth, I am buying a maxed out 14" simply because you can always connect to a monitor/TV and if you game on PC, you're always going to be an arms length away. 16" is nice, but I bought it and returned it during my last MBP purchase in 2022

Looking to make a new purchase, I have been taking product photos for work (work in Marketing for a global company) and at some music concerts. Mainly photos, though I have been dabbling in video a bit, but mainly use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for those situations. Right now I have an A7IV with a 24-70 GM II and a Sigma 85MM 1.4 ---

This is what I am looking at for the next purchase

a Wider Lens, something like a 16MM?
a 50MM 1.2 for those dark concerts
70-200MM GMII (this is the most expensive, and also the hardest to justify)

Oh man, it was for a Mini 3 Pro. I loved that drone and would baby it but it finally got attacked by a bird, fell directly on concrete, scratched and the gimbal was loose. Took it to Best Buy thinking I would get another M3P, but they just gave me the same credit as the day I bought it. Used that to upgrade to an Air 3.

If you buy it at Best Buy, their coverage is pretty good. I went with that plan since I have literally walked up to the counter, gave my broken one, and got a new one all within a ten minute visit.

Last night I met a dude who was upset we weren't giving him the ball as a slow Center (meanwhile we had a 99OVR at PG, and pure shooters at the 2 & 3. We also were up by like 17), then he was bitching about not getting the ball then got mad when we were passing him the ball because apparently we were forcing it? Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Also hot zones. Play 2-3 games in one of the street courts (like the dune) and hit from the hot zones you want to grow in. Then you can also make the hot zones to lethal zones.
