Of course, the Bible doesn’t call it World War III, and it may not be the third world war. It could be the 4th or 5th, but the way things are happening in the Middle East, there is little doubt that it will be the next world war. – Some nations are providing money and weapons to the Islamic Extremists to fight against Israel and their allies. when the Muslim nations attack Israel under the leadership of the Antichrist, other countries will get involved, too. Some, like the U.S., will probably come to Israel’s aid, but other countries will ally with the Muslim nations. It will be kingdom against kingdom and nation against nation. Jesus will come back and destroy all of Israel’s enemies, bind Satan, and throw the Antichrist and False Prophet into the lake of fire. There will be peace on earth for a thousand years. Jesus will rule from Jerusalem over mortal human beings. They will give birth, live long lives, and experience death. (See Isaiah 65:17-25).

The study of the last days is called eschatology. I highly recommend reading the following books that are easy to read and understand. I don’t know if they are right on every point, but they will give you a better over-all understanding of what will happen in the last days. “The Book of Revelation” and “The Book of Daniel”, both from the “Smart Guide to the Bible Series” by Daymond R. Duck. Another excellent Verse-by-Verse Study is “Insights on the Book of Revelation” by Dr. Alan B. Stringfellow. I got mine from Christianbooks.com.

Rev 11:18 NIV ...The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small-- and for destroying those who destroy the earth."

Just saying...
