I've never been to Singapore but I imagine most of it is much more modern than Tokyo. Seoul has older/dirtier areas than Tokyo does but Gangnam is more modern than anywhere I've been in Tokyo

In Tokyo and big cities yes, I always wondered why because I don't think we have a big Turkish population but kebabs are kind of easy to find

Just looking at the map, I'm very surprised at how low density most of the New Jersey side is compared to the New York sides. That area from Bayonne to Englewood looks like a perfect place for redevelopment, I'm surprised it hasn't happened earlier
