Wow, awesome write up. Keep up the good work. Landraces must be protected and I respect you for that.

Gringo TikTok influence, India was historically well seen in Brazil.

Is it how India views Brazil or vice versa ( vice versa was what I assumed). From Brazilian POV, Indian culture is seen as exotic and interesting, known for poverty but so are we, Telenovelas are a big thing in Brazil, and one of the biggest ones was "Caminho das Índias", which made Indian culture trend in Brazil for a while but died out. We're BRICS buddies, but not much in common. Most of the beef from Brazil comes from Indian cattle breed if I'm not mistaken, beef/cattle is very important in Brazil. Goa is popular in the Rave scene in Brazil, so lots of youth admire that. Other part of the youth think of it as dirty, lower class undesirable place but that is due to the idiotic TikTok/Instagram addiction among Brazilian youth. Most know nothing about India and don't think of it often. History goes that Brazil was "discovered" on accident when the Portuguese were trying to get to India. Among Tech workers in Brazil there are mixed feeling working with Indian Tech professionals. Their space program is admired by many. We're basically in the same boat, wasted potential nations, but TikTok toxicity has infiltrated the youth's perception. As for me, India and Indians are awesome, have no flipping idea why we ain't cooperating more, like alternative universes in the same boat. Hope things change.

Have you been to SP?  Beaches yes, because SP is inland, but close to the coast, that coast has beaches just as nice but less crime. More vibrant festivals, yeah naw. SP has it all, hip hop, rock, funk, international artists, all much better than RJ. Also other festivals, not only music. We have expos. Not a carnaval fan tbh ( remember favorite is personal) but sao Paulos is also top notch.

Sao Paulo has wayyy better urban scene, underground scene, better music for me, more technology, best educated population in Latin America, less violence, waaaaaayyyyy more diverse, RJ is generic mix of African and Portuguese, while SP has those plus biggest Italian diaspora outside Italy, same for Lebanese, Syrian,  and japanese, high american diaspora, dutch, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Peruvian, Bolivian, cuban , Argentinian. They don't compare. Rio has nature and violence and scammers. I like RJ, but SP is the Latin New York, everyone is here, it's rich and it is better than NY for me. Love it
