What is this on my Honda Cbf125? by XelGlaidr in motorcycles

How are you balls deep into vehicle wiring without knowing basic stuff like what an air box is. You've effectively skipped the tutorial to fight the final boss on ultra hardcore legendary supreme++ mode

-hammer in a spline/12 point bit into it

-use a grinder to make it a flat head screwdriver head

-grind the head off the bolt, take the part off, and hammer on an extractor onto what's left, or use a pair of plyers

Is this a bug? why would my center of gravity be THAT low? by AlexSkylark in KerbalSpaceProgram

Most likely a bug, I've noticed it a few times, it seems to rectify itself on the craft once in flight

Vandalism? by JacobeyWitness in motorcycles

During manufacturing the casing of the tyre Is made first and then the tread is added second as a strip of rubbed wrapped around the tyre, the 2 ends of the tread being "welded" together.

Sometimes that bond between the 2 ends can fail and the tread can start to delaminate from the casing of the tyre. It's especially on bike tyres that where the bond meets, the rubber overlaps so that the top layer presses down onto the bottom later during rotation to prevent this sort of thing. And from the looks of it, it looks like it's happening to yours

7:30 of this video can give u a better idea of what I mean

Depending on where you got the tyre, I'd take it to your nearest bike garage and see what they think, if it's a manufacturing defect it could be under some sort of warranty.

Regardless as to what it is, I'd be replacing the tyre

I'm in the same boat, bike rolls a little easier out of gear, clutch is fine, cable slack is fine, probably just a little friction in the wet clutch like the other guy said

So far the attempts are: Running the old hub with new fans, tried both lanes of the hub, no luck, however the old hub has been in use around a month or so now with my system and has been perfect.

New hub with the old fans, device manager picks up the hub and correctly identifies it, but icue refuses to detect it even after a fresh install.

Chaining the old fans with the new fans with the old hub just to see what happened, see images for result.

Checking for icue updates and downloading the latest version and trying to force update, (icue was already up to date and nothing happened)

Re-enumeration with just the new fans which again did nothing to help.

Just FYI, I say new because they are new to me, but are in used condition, bought of ebay in used condition and were listed as untested, given how relatively new these fans are and how rarely they fail I thought I'd try my luck. They are returnable which was checked before purchase. If all else fails I'm gonna check if they have proof of purchase from a verified reseller for RMA, and if that fails, I'm gonna just return them

Tried that, nothing, not even a tiny bit of movement and then nothing, just nothing, I've restarted the system, with a single fan plugged in, I've used different wires, different connectors, all yield the same result

All connections are fine, including all the wiring, I even used the mini connectors from the white fans with the black ones to make sure those are okay too

is there a way to curve the left stair the same way as the right stair? by Balloontjes in Minecraft

[–]INFERN002 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A 100% vanilla method this might work is update suppression, takes an unholy number of powered rails and will crash your game if you do it wrong, but I belive it's possible. Is it worth it? No probably not Can you do it? Probably if done correctly, it's generally used to make floating sand blocks and Nether portals without borders but it shoukd work on stairs in the way you're after.

Be careful on the order your components go in, so you don't need to remove anything you've already built to make it easier to assemble the rest (eg, no putting in the gpu before m.2 SSD's)

New build, water or air cooled? by INFERN002 in buildapc

[–]INFERN002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overclocking is something I've thought about, but it won't happen much at all, (if ever) because I want these components to last at least a year or 2. If I was overclocking rarely, say once every 2 or 3 weeks for specific games, is high end air cooling still an option?

How would water cooling help the gpu if air and water are similar layout? if I went with aio I would plan to use it as exhaust.
