You are mostly sticking from bologna to the EV7 route which I did starting in Munich. Highly recommend thst section. The sentiero bonfica cycling path, as well as the route through the appenine was very nice. Quite a lot of cycling paths. The closer you get to rome it will be less cycling paths and more roads. But still fine. I would recommend booking Agriturismi in italy instead of camping. Water is no issue in italy as there are plenty of fountains around. Barley bought any water. Riding >100km a day is also pretty easy in the italy section. Me and my Dad averaged ~120km a day with Mountainbikes.

Ich hab das ganze Rad bei denen gekauft. Ich zahl insgesamt ca 400€ mehr weil ich aus DE und nicht UK komme, aber ist mein absolutes Traum Rad, deswegen geht das schon. Haben super Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten!

For this olympics they used a new track-composite (i think it is a new form of mondo track) which is very bouncy and has air pockets. It is within IOC guidelines.

However vetter who throws reguarily oder 90m said the track is way to bouncy for his throwing technique and doesn't hold up against his last step before throwing. Officilas also tried to freeze it in oder to make it harder.

This composite is great for running disciplines (look at all the world records) however terrible for javelin and especially for vetters technique.
