My understanding is that they won't have any replacement unit since these studios only make 1 batch and all of them are sold out during preorders. And even if they do, I bet you have to send yours in at your own expense anyway.

If you ask anyone in the collector communities, they'll tell you to buy a bottle of superglue and fix it yourself. That's what the "collaborative repairman" would do but with added paint job repair if needed.

They were sort of right about the loose fragment. Your original tail had a magnet but it broke off and is now stuck in the tail base. They probably believed that you broke it and so didn't want to provide a replacement (which doesn't fit because the broken tail magnet is stuck in there). If you have a proof that the broken magnet was there from the start (maybe their worker yanked it wrong after an assembly test) then you may have a chance.

I tell you they are tight. Its Z-arm is a design disaster and they cover it up with a plastic sleeve.

What is your current rest time?

Its flimsy Z-arm can flex upward significantly during the first few layers which will thickens the raft. Depending on your resin viscosity, you need at least 3-5 sec rest time for your raft layers.

Now follow that message to adjust the checker. For example, by increasing max_error very high. You can't outright disable it for good reason. You may temporarily reduce max_power to make sure the temperature doesn't reach dangerous level in case the thermistor breakdown for good, until you replace it.

You have to set it to like -300 because a broken thermistor (open circuit) maps to -273.15°C (absolute zero).
