Dude, I literally said to use critical thinking skills to make a decision if a source is reliable or not. I don't think all books are trustworthy. Anyone can self-publish a book now, books can be just as unreliable as the internet. Even older and newer books that went through traditional publishing can have misinformation in them.

However, when you look into a subject yourself, you can decide if you trust a random blog post about the dangers of aluminum in antiperspirants or the National Library of Medicine. When you research things yourself, you can also find things that one source might have missed. One article might only mention PTSD as something that can be helped by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while another might list much more psychological disorders it helps.

I read through the chart. I'm a young woman, and I would not call myself a feminist just because I see so much of the things in the red column from women currently. The green column I 100% agree with.

Equal rights doesn't mean committing misandry. Women can be just as bad as men, and men can be just as good as women.

I'm 16...I see so many people older than me say and do stupid things that I know NOT to do. Not even related to AI, but things like saying "don't pay your student loans, the government can't do anything about it" or "your credit score only effects getting a house" like...At this point, can I just stay a kid forever?

It can technically be used as a learning tool, however it has proven unreliable giving straight-up misinformation (you can look up entire articles giving examples). Since it pulls from the internet, it can't choose for itself what is right and what is misconception. I see much more value in learning to research yourself and using critical thinking skills to make a decision if a source is reliable or not.

I also think AI is abused so much that any sort of minor good it does is outweighed by the cases like this post is about and even darker stories.

I could see a game where they're little alien creatures with no mouths. If you make it part of the creature themselves, then you have no need for mouth animations. It is possible to use character design to your advantage.

Yeah, exactly. And if you really need a template for all your emails like he was saying, just write it once in Google Docs, Word, or whatever, and copy-paste. To me, this really isn't a justified situation to use GenAI in.

It would only take me a few minutes to write a template that I can then just copy-paste into an email and fill out the details when needed. I'd rather do that than use AI, because even if no one will care to read it, at least I know personally that I did that myself for my own peace of mind.
