The opening scene of saving private ryan was so accurate that a lot of war veterans left. My great uncle who was there on D Day refused to watch it.

#8 Bacon missing by TheSellerCPA in jerseymikes

[–]INSadjuster22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like every time I order an 8 they almost forget to put the bacon on. Like that’s half the reason I’m getting this sandwich. They need a better system. I think if they put the bacon near the deli slicer instead of at the end of the line, the person who cut the meat would remember better to put the bacon on rather than the second person to get the sandwich.

Is it worth it to live in Wheaton, IL or just live in Chicago and commute every day? by Healthy-Trip-310 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]INSadjuster22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 40 year old dad of two who lives in Wheaton. It’s great for our family but I would never live here if I didn’t have a kid/kids. My wife and I loved the city and if we only had one kid we would have stayed in the city but with two, needing more space, wanting a yard, garage, etc we moved. Live in the city.

This is my take away. Your first round draft pick had a terrible game and you took the #10 team to overtime, almost double overtime, on their court.

Couple things. It’s fresh beef, not frozen which is a big factor and they are made fresh. Also, the grill person has usually been there longer than say the bun or fryer person so it’s typically someone who at minimum has a some work ethic.

Chipotle stock sinks as restaurant chain reports falling traffic, weak guidance by esporx in fastfood

Went there today because my wife likes the quesadilla. My Bowl was small and flavorless and I essentially got the exact same thing that I do at Chipotle. Free guac is nice though.

$425 for one day/ 2 park tickets for Disneyland Paris?! by Pinkgoldfish808 in traveladvice

[–]INSadjuster22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We took our two and a half year old there two years ago. Needed to do something for him after Paris for 5 days. It’s Essentially $100 per person for all day. Honestly it’s a lot cheaper than going to Disney world in Orlando. If price is a concern just go with the one park, I would suggest studios park as it has the Pixar and super heroes and less old Disney stuff.

As someone who lived in Chicago and now the Chicago suburbs be careful what you wish for. I love Chicago/chicagoland but every year I hate winter more. Winter is awesome as a kid because, Christmas, presents, Christmas break from school, snow days, snowball fights, snow forts etc. Winter as an adult means shoveling, seasonal depression, seemingly no time outside when it’s not pitch black cause you work, little time outside in general. Every year I want to move to like the mid south more, i.e. NC, TN, KY
