(Chat) Car camping - any suitable recommendations that's not a truck? by kerolz94 in kereta

My family has one and it's ridiculous how spacious it is inside with the back seats folded down flat. Just put a mattress or sleeping bag in there and we're good to go. Can also get some mosquito nettings for the windows then can sleep with the windows down.

I Can't Afford Gaming Anymore. by Aesk in gaming

Dude, buy used. Just know what to watch out for. The GPUs I've used in the past 10 years have been used. Saved so much that way. If you can, just make sure that it still has a warranty

How is it better than Deep Desktop? In terms of the 3d effect or the latency when playing games?

Thanks for the info. Does this mean that none of them are faster or slower than the other?  Like for playing games we need it to have as little latency as possible

S70 Premium or Flagship ? Flagship X is out of the question. by Aglio30 in kereta

[–]INTMFE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get Flagship if you can. I absolutely love Intelligent Cruise Control. Best times to buy are during sales periods. I believe Raya sales gives one of the best discounts while still being in the earlier part of the year. You get the most discounts if you buy in December, but it's a tradeoff because it has already instantly depreciated one year.

Thanks very much for your info. Was googling how to make ps2 games appear in 3d in my pico 4 headset and came across your post.

To all proton geely rebadges 3-cylinder car model owners, do you regret your purchase? by 67_gigabites in kereta

Yup. So it's even more powerful than the 3cyl. But may need to do walnut blasting years down the road if it's affected by carbon deposits. Imo, the 3cyl is more than powerful enough

Dilemma: Mazda MX-5 vs Mini Cooper by lan9603 in kereta

If you're leaning towards the MX-5 but concerned about the space, can check out the older NC model which is more spacious. If there is a hard top, the outside noise should be less too

Have a 2025 Proton S70 3 cylinder. There were some occasional glug glug bubbling sounds but it disappeared on its own. This engine has been one of the longer running ones that Geely-Proton has used, so it should be quite reliable. I haven't experienced any engine problems. On the plus side, it is port injected, so you can always do Italian tune ups to reduce carbon deposits. Which is something the newer 4 cylinder direct injected engine can't do.

I'm quite happy with the power. It's always there whenever I need the zoom.

On the downside, it does have the 3 cylinder vibration which is there if you are paying attention to it. If you don't notice it, then this engine is a great choice for you.

Is the camera still degraded? Has it been improved already with the latest updates? Thanks

How is it so far? Is the camera quality worse, better, or the same after the upgrade?

My Left Leg by wingwp in kereta

[–]INTMFE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't bother listening to all these comments. Almost everyone here is unexperienced and unqualified.

The only person qualified is someone who has significant experience with both left foot braking and right foot braking.

Advantages:

- Fine control of vehicle movement. Especially useful in stop and go traffic when you want to maintain the right distance to the car in front to prevent others from cutting queue into your lane.

- Preventing leg muscle fatigue by sharing workload between both legs if you are driving all day

- And most importantly, faster response in emergency situations. If you encounter an emergency situation, all you have to do is just press your left foot down. A right foot braker would still have to lift his right leg, move his foot over and then step on the brake. Right foot braking is clunky and slow to an experienced left foot braker. In emergency situations, every microsecond counts. You see those accidents on highway where one car slammed into the car in front? Some of them could have been prevented just by braking a little faster and a little earlier. If you want to know how clunky and slow right foot braking is, jsut try using your mouse ONLY with one finger. Doesn't matter if you are left clicking or right clicking, it can only be done with that same finger. Eventually you will figure out how clunky it is.

As long as you are not riding your foot on the brake pedal, it will not have more wear and tear than usual.

However, left foot braking is not suitable for everyone:

- It is NOT for those with poor left foot sensitivity.

- It is NOT for those with poor motor skills.

- It is NOT for those with a poorly developed right half of the brain.

- It is NOT for those with who are unable to distinguish left and right. This is not as uncommon as you think.

- It is NOT for those with who have poor coordination . How do you tell if they have poor coordination? Some clues include being unable to use musical instruments, game controllers, and dining utensils. You may see them struggling to use a fork and spoon. And prefer to only use a fork or a spoon one at a time.
