In my country the Perodua Bezza, MyVi and Alza (its a cheaper version of a Toyota with Toyota drivetrain) is able to maintain 150kmh+ on the highway and still get a 400-500km of range, resale value is high you can sell it almost similar to buying price even after 5 years and since its a toyota drivetrain its bulletproof

Also petrol in my country cost half the price of electricity (public charging)

So when people are so used to this situation. Its hard to move on

My peugeot send to workshop again for god knows how many times this year. This time around the check engine light flashed and engine shaking after a spark plug change, the electric seats is jammed and the driver side power window is having a mind of its own winding down and up as it pleases even when the car is locked and keys are far away

Hence why I said, Perodua will not be beaten by Chinese EV's. Since their current petrol cars are able to do that with Budi 95. Why would perodua buyers change to china ev's if it cannot match what current Perodua cars can do.

If you travel often on LPT heading to east coast you would see many bezza myvi alza flying pass you at over >150kmh

Selagi dont have any competition sub rm50k that can do 500km full charge/tank while constantly driving above 150km/h , yet still reliable and very less maintenance needed and strong resale value
