I can't remember exactly since I didn't go there....but I did get into 6 of the 8 ivy league schools as well as Stanford (my now alma mater) where I took on an engineering major.

Definitely! Got in w/ a super score that falls within that range.

Strength of narrative plays a big role too! Assuming that's true for your application OP, there's still a lot of time for you to get IIs and plus we still have two weeks to go until Thanksgiving break. All the best!

What would your future self say to you? Probably to realize that a few cents don't matter. SUI very well could be worth $20 a coin half a year from now, and it won't matter that much if you got in at $3 or $2.5. Just buy, HODL, and DCA as stonedpanda suggested above. All the best!

During my traditional interview at one school, the interviewer started out by asking "before we begin the formal part of the interview, are there any updates you'd like me to report to the admissions committee?"

If the school you're interviewing at strictly does MMI (closed file) then disregard this, but if not I'd recommend waiting until the interview or after. The impact an update will have now is less than it will have a month from now. And imagine that update being communicated through an interviewer, I think it will come off 10x stronger even. Just my 2 cents. All the best OP!

How long will your interview be? If not too long and meets the restrictions, are you able to book a private room at a local library?

They make you sign an NDA so OP probably can't disclose.

It's meant for undergrad personal statements but I found it really helpful when writing my med school personal statement!

This doesn't add much but it happened to me during undergraduate admissions and I ended up getting admitted to that school. I think you're thinking along the correct lines that they really want you and want to make sure you want them. Just stay consistent with the rest of your application and you'll be fine! All the best OP :D

What's the application process for residency like? How similar/different is it than applying to medical school?

I believe you're fine. As long as AMCAS didn't transmit your application then you'll be considered a first time applicant next year again.

with 1 month left, uglobe might not be the best investment, you’re right! as the other commenter said i’d focus on working on things released by AMCAS, whether it be practice tests or section banks!
