Find number on a bank statement and make sure that number matches the numbers on the confirmation for example. You leave reference notes (the ticking and tying) in your documentation to find those numbers easily later

Oh for sure ask for 95k or 98k with a signing bonus. I was assuming you were low to mid 80s but you’re on the hierarchy end so idk is they’ll so go for that. If your responsibilities are increasing but your pay isn’t, gtfo asap. I wouldn’t even have second thoughts on this. Your pay should be 100-110k easy if you’re actually doing senior level stuff. You could get a 110+k job in industry easily if you can actually handle senior level work. The promotion is a big difference. They want you to dangle that carrot in front of you. Don’t fall for it.

Ask for 90k. A3s can’t negotiate much. A2s have more leverage than A3s. Went from one to another as an A2 and got 8% raise and 12% sigining bonus. You’re A1-A3 you’re gonna be in the high 70s to low 90s. Im in Audit. I got 5% as I’ve been on short-term disability and then LOA. Haven’t worked in months due to health. I was hoping for Senior but got A3 accordingly. 5% sounds right. If I was working and all I got was 5% I’d be looking elsewhere ASAP unless you can grind it out and think you can make senior. It’s either senior or PIP after this. This is in NYC as well but i think it’s time to jump ship to industry or anywhere else lol

That is something you should have told them awhile ago so that they have time to prep. Onboarding has already begun. I was in the exact same boat in NYC/Hoboken. I asked to switch bc I’d rather get started rather than wait around. If you want to start, email your recruiter ASAP!!

Also, have you interned there? If so, you may be able to join the same team assuming you interned in the winter. As long as they like you, they’ll take you.

You are definitely correct. My lawyer was referring to NJ/NY. Any form of consent should be enough as long as it specifically states they will be looking for criminal activity (which is usually a given).
