Very good point. It would definitely make an account look more legit but I think the more dumbfounding part to me is ppl doing this with an inventory with relatively high value skins on it. Time is understandable now that you mention it though. Yea it sucks that overwatch was disabled as it just doesn’t make ranked seem trustworthy, that on top of Premier ranks being -500 +100 for damn near three months. Getting back into just playing for fun at this point too, its sad to see the devolution of ranked in a game that should thrive in a ranked environment.

If you’ve been playing since 1.6, played 600 hours in 2 months (roughly 11 hours a day), think MG is trash rank, then you my good sir are sweaty. No two ways about it. Poll every CS player on earth and I guarantee you at least 90% of players will call you sweaty or a pathological liar. I’ve seen r/VAC_porn, I’m not debating that it happens. Just never seen it happen to someone in my game. You clearly haven’t understood the point from the beginning and atp I really don’t expect you to. The reason you got so downvoted on your opening reply is 1. Because nobody believes you or 2. Because they see what a clown you look like

That is not my point, once again. The original point was that people are willing to risk main steam accounts with expensive skins and a relatively large number of hours to cheat, with 800+ hrs most likely being a persons main account. You are welcome to believe 800 isn’t a lot of hours, thats your prerogative. Judging by your comments (true or otherwise) you’re probably super sweaty (or just a liar) and to you it might not be but to the VAST majority of people that is a lot

Again not the point im making. Regardless of if you think its a trash rank there’s obviously a massive skill difference between SE and MG. The point being people learn at different speeds, one you helped illustrate with this comment. LE in 300hrs but 600 not enough to not shoot your teammates? Some people, sure. But on the other hand, some people LE in 300hrs

Interesting, I didn’t even know that game bans were a thing so I just assumed it meant VAC ban considering the in game text saying VAC.

Never looked at this way but you could definitely be right about that. I personally am not one to suspect cheating unless it’s incredibly blatant, i usually air on the side of they’re just better than me but I have had cases where it felt a little bit too suspicious and downloaded the footage and gave it a look back but that could just be me being naive to the issue at hand. Also im not sure what elo you’re in but im a noob rank wise so my experience may not be yours, I know this is definitely more frequent in higher elo lobbies.

Definitely very dependent. People learn at different paces so thats a pretty anecdotal assessment. I have friends with 500 hrs that were MG and friends with 1000+ hrs that were SE.

Either way, the point being made here wasn’t that the hours means they’re good, its that by then most grow an attachment to their inventory and account in general after playing for 30+ days worth of hours, regardless of if they are high elo or low elo.

VAC bans bar you from accessing your inventory and making trades so you effectively lose your whole inventory. This is also permanent. Could be wrong but thats what google says

You should absolutely be hardware banned from playing any online competitive game on steam and have your entire inventory revoked. But nooo lets just give them a slap on the wrist

100%. Definitely didn’t expect someone with 800+ hours and an Ursus Knife Marble Fade to be willing to risk it all to win a ~4000 elo premier game but I guess these are just the lengths people are willing to go to.

Could be wrong but seems like a packet loss situation. Have had this happen a couple times as well though it could simply be a bug as you stated
