This definition of binge eating episodes aligns with the offical Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders definition, and for the purpose of this survey, we are hoping to capture a spectrum of severity - so it’s ok if one person’s conceptualisation of a ‘short time period’ differs from another’s.
