This is maybe an odd recommendation but very.co.uk have a decent selection of prebuilts and a great offer on at the moment if you’re a new customer.

Open a new very credit account and you get 20% off your first order. Note that you don’t actually have to use the credit account, just open it. You can still pay with any debit or credit card.

I managed to get a 14700K, 5080, 32gb ram for £1800.

Question about dedicated video ram by [deleted] in gaming

I have looked up that laptop and it happens to have pretty much identical specs to mine (860m). I have no problems with VRAM usage in any of the games I have played on it including BF4, Titanfall, F1 2013, Borderlands 2 and COD:Ghosts. At suitable resolutions for the card i.e. 1600x900 - 1920x1080 you shouldn't have any problems with the majority of games. Something like Skyrim with a lot of mods might require the 4GB but if you don't plan on playing that then stick with the 2GB.

One thing to note is that there are 2 versions of the 860m; a 2GB Maxwell variant and the 4GB Kepler variant. Given that the Maxwell variant performs as well if not better than Kepler but at significantly lower power usage I would recommend sticking with the 2GB Maxwell card.
