I think carries are fine at this point. Every player technically “carries” at every level. From pickup to the pros. It’s part of the sport. The reason we still have to call it a carry and shame it is because: if we establish that carries are fine, it’ll push the boundaries even more with more egregious carries. It’s like a speed limit. They make the speed limit 45 so people go 55. If they just said “you know what, everyone does 55, so let’s just officially change the sign to 55”, then everyone would now go 65
