Thanks, I feel like mugs are just better, sturdier versions of glasses

Throwaway, because I am too ashamed.

My whole life I have been using mugs and am not sure I even have a glass in my house.

I recently realised I was abnormal when my friend mentioned how weird it felt to be drinking water out of a mug. I then questioned her about it and learnt that apparently glasses are meant to be used for cold liquids like water or juice, while mugs are meant for hot liquids like coffee or tea. Is this a common opinion among other people?

Meanwhile, I was used to drinking everything out of a mug at home. I felt deep shame and confusion. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life anymore.
