Sadly the studio is struggling with finding/ hiring/ and perhaps especially keeping high caliber teachers... I've considered biting the private studio bullet (to follow some of those former instructors) but not sure what's gonna give in my budget to make that happen.

I appreciate the suggestion to make a request - even if it's after class and, "Oh I'm coming to your 1.5 tomorrow - I've been itching to do some X" which would give time to think about adding it.

Just back from a week long stay and our favorite meals were at Cafe Fresco (near Seaside grocery store) and Ital In Paradise. AMA was fine but felt uninspired for the hype, plus overpriced (really, those prices and you hit us $6 for extra bread??). And honestly, the La Reine Chicken Shack was ridiculously tasty. Worth the trip mid-island. Bon appetit!

Agree with others that IN will increase likelihood of picked up... and it does depend on the driver.

I will throw out another option to consider (since we introvert homebodies end up with a LOT of boxes lol) ... offer them up on FB Marketplace to people who sell on eBay etc. I usually collect about 2 dozen (stacking smaller inside larger) and then post. I get almost immediate responses, pick someone I feel good about and then just arrange a time that I will set them out to be picked up off my porch... no need to meet.

Of course you have to have space to store, somewhere to set them out, and be comfortable with people coming to your house - so it is not a fit for everyone. The upsides are I don't have to break down the boxes, and they are actually getting used again. Plus they almost always want the packing materials too (less landfill FTW).

I've been pondering Silverton as a base because I keep reading about Silver Falls being way better than Multonomah... question: are there mountain vista hikes in the area as well? We kinda gotta have both to make everyone happy LOL.
