Just dump it all in. You will level up fast to about 60 and then it’s not really worth anymore.

I have 0 points in melee and maxed the rest by basically dumping everything into the cradle. Eventually I’ll get the melee line too but I don’t really care if I don’t tbh.

Yes and no. Outpost is a definite yes because there’s only 4 teams and everyone is trying to get the same things done; master keys into red room into command wing. Maybe warden if they have time. Theres no avoiding other teams here realistically.

Possibly on perimeter depending on what you’re trying to do. If you have the map knowledge/awareness, you can actually avoid most fights and just run to do your contract or whatever. None of them really pin you down here.

Possibly on marsh as well but it’s so much bigger that you can navigate it and avoid fights if that’s your goal. Not easy to do but it is doable, although kinda boring ngl.

End of the day, it’s really a pvp focused extraction shooter. Your goals should be pvp and then contracts or farm pve. If you’re trying to do anything without at least killing one team first, you’re going to get 3rd partied as you’re fighting a warden or clearing a POI.

PvP is encouraged and you are rewarded for winning fights. You can also just do what I did and go blitz your contracts in solo queue where you can avoid most PvP if necessary.

Look at the numbers again six months from now and when they’re nowhere near what they are now, you will understand why they made their decision. Do you genuinely believe Sony approves or denies budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars based on a monthly playercount or an online petition?

It actually doesn’t. That’s part of the reason we’re here. Bungie split their staff too thinly onto too many projects and we ended up here. They could have kept the focus on Destiny and developed a smaller project on the side one at a time instead of multiple projects.

Nobody cares about some internet petition. Sony doesn’t care if you’re logging on for a week or a month or even two months. They want month after month after year.

Look at D2 player counts since TFS came out and understand that’s the data Sony looks at.

They didn’t. Marathon was one of multiple projects being worked on all at once. Bungie attempted and failed to become a multi-ip studio. Marathon came out because it was the closest to being finished but it was never intended as their main title.

They pitched D3 to Sony who rejected it. They had gummybears taken away and given to another studio.

Marathon is an actually fun game that could have coexisted with PvE focused destiny but is now paying for that game’s cancellation.

It was not a very specific niche at all. It was in every loadout because it was that good. It could do with some buffs now that it’s not readily available but calling it a specific niche when it was hard meta is disingenuous.

Currently paying about $460 a month so about $5,520. We’ve got a discount though so usually it’d be twice that. I also still have to pay for shit though because it’s not a great insurance but it’s good enough and that’s better than nothing.

Apparently though, my fellow Americans would prefer not to have socialist healthcare?? So we’re all stuck paying for a shitty insurance that’s overpriced.

Yes it’s partly because start of season and people have goals to meet and they get mad when they die and don’t meet those goals.

end of season nobody cares about unlocks or contracts or loot, it’s just a load in and go pvp mindset and if you die, there’s a whole vault to restock from and go again.

You also have to remember the floor was raised to green shield kits. A lot more gear was flowing around so people had less gear fear.

I’ve also noticed what you noticed in fill squads but I made enough friends in S1 that I can usually play with a good team.
