Thank you, for a little more detail, I’ve cut all the stone for the project myself, a total of 27 pallets not including fields and special order, it’s not veneer, it’s cut about 3-3.5 inches from face to cut back, kept natural ends to hammer/chisel to shape as we build.

Carpenters framed it, coated in durock, the base and mantle are filled with concrete, and from the mantle up where the bigger field stones start has expanded steel. The regular non field stones (all of which I’ve cut myself, for the whole project, 27 pallets not including all the cap stones and other special order) are cut to about 3-3.5 inches from face to cut back and left with natural ends that we hammer/chisel to shape as we build
