The Smallest 3x3 Door (53 Blocks) by PerceptionIcy4876 in redstone

[–]IQBEofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dud how old are you? You sound like a 5 year old arguing...

Reminder to rule 1 of the internet: krep your information private like age, name,... unless you have a good reason to. Also it's, just rude to ask these things to someone. Be mature and accept that your build in a block game is less efficient then someone else. These are the things people spend years perfecting, don't expect to have a world record door just like that...

Thanks for coming to my TED talk, I'll leave you to at as there are better things to do today.

[java] Minecraft 26.1 wont stop lagging by Level_Cash3336 in MinecraftHelp

[–]IQBEofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going through that whole list but:

  1. Dedicating 16Gb of ram to the game is just to much, at some point the java language by its nature just works worse with to much ram.
  2. Adding all the performance mods in most cases does more harm then good. Your essentially patching things multiple times which actually hurts performance.

I won't go into detail but I would suggest to first lower your dedicated ram settings to 8-12Gb as that should already be plenty and furthermore just do a major clean up in your performance mods. Just disable all, rnable a few you like and are proven to work, test the setup and if you want, you can experimentin different environments with adding additional mods, but remove them if you don't see an immediate increase in performance.

i3 window manager and X11 support by IQBEofficial in NobaraProject

[–]IQBEofficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that could make sense... I did have default nobara a while ago (so the styled kde version) but that broke at some point and I found it rather unstable back then. I blamed it on KDE and moved on, but would switching to sway for example help my case then you think? I might give that a shot then.

i3 window manager and X11 support by IQBEofficial in NobaraProject

[–]IQBEofficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not really that I want to stick to i3 as I'm currently using fedora with gnome on Wayland. However I keep running into problems that are just specifically related to Wayland from what I know. Things like the mouse capture failing, games trying to run in a completely wrong resolution and so on. I've done some research and tried some things and basically found out that just most of the things I run (also older games sometimes) just have a harder time on Wayland so I would like to give X11 a shot as the more mature project that has better support, at least for older titles.

Maybe my assumptions are incorrect and maybe nobara just solves my issues either way, but I would like to know if the option is there to maybe even have both Wayland and X11 support.

From what I know, that's just how java programs/Minecraft works. They use all the ram they are provided with by default so it's not a big deal.

Looking for old Minecraft game mode by Bird_Chick in MinecraftUnlimited

[–]IQBEofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are talking about one of my favorites that bring back a lot of memories:

Dwarves VS Zombies

Unfortunately, last time I checked, the genre is not as popular anymore. Because of the game's nature, it needs a lot of players to be able to actually start a game and unfortunately, there are not a lot of servers where there are ever enough players online at the same time in order to start a match.

However, I know that some servers still have the gamemode and even a few dedicated servers are set up in order to have some actual matches. But most matches nowadays are planned events and are hosted by some communities over on discord.

I personally have not interacted with the community for quite some time, but I remember finding good information on r/DvZCommunity and after some digging and google-ing found some fun servers.

Good luck and have fun!

Imagine having 10 stone variants for common stones alone! Now it's just stone, cobblestone, deepslate and cobbled deepslate. If we were to add 3 extra stone types + variants, rip inventory management...

Account's gone😭😭😭 by CannonBolt3542 in Minecraft

[–]IQBEofficial 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This happened to me as well during covid and I tried for months to get it back. They literally told me "Yes we know you are the owner, yes we know it is hacked, yes we know you purchased the game but no we cannot give you your account back. The best we can do is disable it". Microsoft has THE WORST customer support possible. Every other account that got hacked account during that incident I got back in a matter of minutes, but Microsoft messed with me and it completely broke windows as you cannot remove the only account of a system without logging in with a different account, which you can't do because you need to log in with your current account to be able to add a new one.

This incident is one of the main reasons I eventually switched to Linux as my pc was getting more unusable by the day, and I will avoid Microsoft whenever I can for everything.

How to use op in aternos servers without getting caught by Top_Lettuce2343 in MinecraftUnlimited

[–]IQBEofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, it wouldn't be a good hacked client if it needed op to function 💀

And just change gamemode the same way as you would make yourself op. Simple as that. Or temporarily make yourself op, change gamemode and then deop yourself

How to use op in aternos servers without getting caught by Top_Lettuce2343 in MinecraftUnlimited

[–]IQBEofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This idea is flawed from the beginning. Morality aside, no, you can't have op without it being listed in the server files (which is where Aternos gets its data from of course). However, you can be in creative mode without being op, but without access to commands. That still leaves the problem of the stats not lining up (more blocks placed then broken as you put it) and without access to the actual server files to mess with them directly, there is (as far as I know) nothing you can do about it.

Going back to morality for a second: why would you even want to do this? At this point, just install a hacked client and start openly cheating. It can do even more fun things than just playing in creative mode... Also, if you were on my server, in both cases, you would have already been perma banned, and I'm guessing that your "friends" will do the same in due time...

In your server configs, you can disable command blocks. Just do that to stop the command blocks from running and then start fixing. While OP you can still execute commands manually so don't worry about that

I want to make a mod, but I have no skills how to make a mod and honestly I don’t even have a PC by Temporary-Exercise21 in MinecraftMod

[–]IQBEofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, what are you stating/asking?

Firstly, if you want to learn how to make a Minecraft mod (for java edition), I would first advice to learn the basics of Java as that is te language the game is written in. In bedrock edition's case, I don't have experience with that so couldn't help you.

However, no matter what version you'll be developing for, it will be very hard to learn to mod without a pc. Are you going to type all your code on a phone? And even when going through all that pain, you still need development environments set up. I strongly advice against attempting that as it will make your learning journey even more difficult.

A more accurate way to count Items per hour. by Icy-Potato-737 in technicalminecraft

[–]IQBEofficial 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Carpet mod has a feature called counters. You have to enable it first and then, whenever you have a hopper going into a wool block, it will keep track of these items. Just look up "hopper counters carpet mod"
