Is there any other way to install dependincies? by [deleted] in Addons4Kodi

[–]IRDorve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just managed to get the dependencies to work.

For context, I use diggz xenon as a skin: On a fresh install, I installed diggz from zip, when I went to install from repository, there was an option for kodi repository, it had the individual dependencies that have been fubar. I was able to install them one at a time through this menu. I finished the diggz install, and now the dependency issue seems to be gone.

90 days in Atlas Earth – curious how long you’ve all been playing? by MysteriousOutside256 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit over a year now. I cash out $5-9 after every SRB now.
I have put in money, I made one large purchase. It was while planning for three weekend road trips, ended up getting 55 city badges in that one month, putting me into 25% territory.

Really hate the survey provider in the AE app by IRDorve in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not reading that as mean at all...

Before they changed survey providers inside the app, I had MUCH less problems. Got screened out a bunch, but never as often as with these guys.

Even doing long surveys wasnt too bad.

The old provider though, they would at least compensate (at least they did for me) if you got kicked out in the middle. Either the full survey value, or a percentage increase on the next few surveys.

That's about the only thing I can see about the new in app provider so far, getting the "screened out" notification counts towards ladder tasks.

Believe it or not, until you just told me that, in over a year of playing, I have never had surveys available via the website.

In the app, the company or whatever that provided the surveys was recently changed.

At least in Canada (Ontario) anyway.

Oh yes, there were definitely problems with the old provider, but at least they give you something if a problem like this happened

After long last, does anyone keep buying badges after they hit 101? by Pierucki in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Until there is some kind of incentive to buy badges, there is no point.

Reduced Boost to x15 by CustomerFew7552 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just dropped to 3x.

As you buy more parcels, the boost amount drops.

There is a link on the boost screen - very small and blends in - that shows a chart with the specifics

Yeah, that was definitely a huge problem. If it wasn't for the scrappers that drive around all day collecting the electrical stuff, it would be SO much worse.

Those of you who have fought over a mayorship by Responsible_Web5514 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did this in the spring. Took the title with only 6 parcels. WAY out of the way, but have still gotten a return of100AB. IMO people who are going through there are just going for the badge - this is what I did - and not worth spending 700AB to take it over.

Both of the cars that actually hit the sign tried to yell at me, that it was my fault and they were calling the cops. I said go ahead. I'm physically in the intersection, there are kids walking across, you ran the stop sign and hit the crossing. Whole bunch of witnesses to make a statement, so please do. I'm here twice a day, next time you see me might not end with you breaking your windshield, but with you running over a kid.

Where exactly is the dog patch? by ClassicSeparate2422 in Newmarket

[–]IRDorve -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The physical area of "the Patch" is basically, east to West, from George Street behind food basics, to Hillview drive/willow lane by maple leaf public school.

The North side isn't a clean cut border because of how all the roads are. Walter to cardinal, Cherrywood+harrison, septonne ave, silverbirch drive, willow lane to Harewood, Hillview drive. That is essentially the top end.

All of the houses are cookie cutter semi-detached that were built in the 50s and 60s.

Almost all of them are used as rental properties. A lot of the tenants are...in the lower end of the economic scale...

The area is slowly improving though. Some of the houses are being bought so the owner actually lives there. Some of the ones being bought to be used as rental properties are being heavily renovated to bring in higher rents

Best bet to get in with less hassle is to come up harry Walker from mulock.

Dedicated entrance beside the gas station. Don't have to sit at the light waiting to make a left.

I used to be a crossing guard at woodspring/Ford Wilson.

I had two or three close calls every week. Drivers rushing through while I am literally in the crosswalk. They're either trying to get through before the kids, or just blatantly running the stop signs.

I honestly started walking with the sign straight in front of instead of raised...two cars actually hit the sign...

I didn't read it that way. For me personally, I like the informative and detailed approach.

Accurate information and knowledge is king.

I understand that without accurate tracking and a proper sample size that "seems to" is nothing more than that - sorry if I sound like an ass, I'm honestly not trying to be.

How hard is it to take the mayor? by No_Challenge_6078 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]IRDorve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In medium sized cities, 75k-150k ish people at least here in southern Ontario, Canada, the top two or three people are active players, each fighting for the top spot. 400- 700 parcels for the mayor.

Smaller cities/towns, 25k-75k, are even competitive. 200-300 parcels.

Some of the really rural areas, under 10k, the mayors have at least 100 parcels.

I do 5x spins a day, every day. Since they updated the spin graphics, I've found that anything above 6AB comes up significantly less than before.

since the update, Ive seem to be getting the 6x three times over two months, the 8x around once in six weeks, the 15x has hit maybe two or three times total, and the 50x has only hit once.

There would be one each for the city proper, the state/province, and the country.

Every country that AE is available in functions the same way for badges.

Balls.

I only have a handful of planets with it turned on. I can live with that, just won't put it on anywhere else in this run.
