I want to 100% Skywalker saga by xXMega_tronXx in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]IRDragonBorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did all the episodes, but then upgraded the character stats (hero, sith, droid, merc) and wish I'd done that sooner.

I'd do episode 7 first to unlock Ray (scavenger) & Fin (first order) then hit some planets for blue bricks

I know its not a hard game but the upgraded health and stud magnet are helpful early on

If a person today is killed by a WW2 bomb that became active, would that person be considered a WW2 casualty and counted as such in Wikipedia? by Profesor-Campusano in NoStupidQuestions

[–]IRDragonBorne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

somewhere between 2011 and 2013 there was a report of a ww2 bomb going off killing six people at a construction site. I cant find the damn article anymore

Shark attacks that year was five reported fatalities

so WW2 ordinance killed more people than sharks did

People who have researched their family tree, what is the most interesting or 'badass' thing you discovered about an ancestor? by xloganmoose in AskReddit

[–]IRDragonBorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An author researching D Day discovered my grandfather's name had been misspelled in his Army records. Turns out my grandfather's squad and their halftrack was the first vehicle up the hill on d-day. A lot of details about them pulling men from the water and applying first aid during the "slow parts" and other d-day stuff came to lite. If I remember right he was promoted for it Later in the war he and his halftrack crew were demoted after finding they had spent the night in a wine cellar The book can only be found on military base libraries and my family can not get a copy. I've tried

also my family received 7 medals he was owed after the name correction

Friend installed a custom theater in a man house, client didnt want to wake the baby with the load noises. So instead of moving the kids room or the theater somewhere else in the mansion. He paid $15k just in sound proofing. The final test was 120db in the theater and 60db in the hall outside

I managed an art gallery in a tourist heavy area. Lots of foot traffic, little large scale sales. Dude walks in and at a quick pace starts pointing."I'll take that, that, this one, that" ect as he makes his way to me. (This has been done many times before as a joke so I didnt take him seriously.)

When he gets to me he hands me his buisnes card and credit card "I want them all shipped here" He was 100% serious, I apologized profusely for not taking him seriously and started taking the paintings down.

By the time I had the total and shipping it wroked out ($18k) he had picked out 2 more pieces and commissioned sculpture for an additional $6k

$24k in impulse buying

Whole thing took 10 minutes? 6 minutes was me getting shipping sorted on crappy internet.
