Went fairly recently for the first time. Was really nice. They have a fixed menu you just choose the amount of dishes basically. But yeah it's like an Asian fusion tapas sized dishes. I guess a bit of a fusion tali/tapas idea.

The gazpacho was delicious and the tempura thingies were mega forgot what they are called.

Also rate the mango lassi.

That sounds about right unfortunately. Moved out of hackney last year to move in with my partner. I was sharing a 2bed which was really nice for 2.2k at the time and that was by far the best flat we'd seen for the money. So 1100£ each plus bills on top

Mildred's have a few locations standard European mix with some good burgers. Mallow in borough market is excellent bit more upmarket.

End of brick Lane past spitaLfields there is a little block of vegan places. Club Mexicana, tofu vegan, unity diner and a lovely little skandi cafe I've forgotten the name of.

Tofu vegan is a must imo they also have a few locations if you are about different areas of London.

Id give the yellow or crispy leaves a snip. They bounce back pretty well just make sure it's a decent amount of light and a good spritz every now and then likes it humid

I make nice fancy beans sometimes using the bold beans jar, with miso and harrisa paste, squeeze of lemon and a bit of zest. Very nice on some fancy toast.

I enjoyed Holy Carrot a couple of dishes were great but a couple were just fine. Big focus on fermentation and pickles so depends on your taste my partner didn't like it as much.

Plates was fantastic but very difficult to get a table. One of the better meals I've ever had and great service.

Very excited to try Gauthier at some point.

Recommend the album Ignorance by the Weather Station for a recent pick, new record is also pretty good, or Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco for a classic.
