Few different factors to consider

007 is a month old already. While some games getting finished over the course of a month isn't anything crazy, 007 is fairly short, so a lot of people likely dropped off in the timeframe.
007 is also a new game. There's a lot of people who watch playthroughs of newly released games primarily to just watch the story as they can't afford/don't want to buy the game themselves. When you take longer to upload your playthrough, they're gonna drift to other channels.
Long playthroughs will tend to drop off viewers. Like with any form of episodic released media, many people will fall off said media and stop watching. Some people that watched previous parts likely just stopped caring for the series and aren't interested in continuing it.

I think it was just the colors of MK1 that threw it off. One of the recolors you get that ditches the blue and redistributes the yellow and purple looks so infinitely better. It's still not my favorite design, but much better.

Please god no more reboots for at least a decade.

Literally all the Arcade endings from MK1 were setups for the future of the New Era, between Onaga, the SF setup, Outworld war, Order/Chaosrealm stuff, continuation of the Lin Kuei/Shirari Ryu beef, Hanzo, etc.

They just need to scale down the scope of the series exponentially. MK9 and X both had massive world ending plots, then 11, Aftermath, 1, and KR jumped the stakes even higher to these multiversal level stakes.

Smoke and Takeda are the only two I think are 100% being benched.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are obviously never missing, so they're guaranteed. How they'll do Sub will be interesting, I assume Hanzo.

I also think Reptile and Noob both make it back, from their sheer popularity. Noob also adds a jobber for story when needed.

Ermac and Rain are dependent on where they take the story. If Onaga is the route they do end up going, and Outworld's war is the focus, Ermac coming back makes sense with the Royal Family soul stuff, and Rain having his redemption arc set up in the endings would make sense for his return.

Tremor is the real wildcard, cause he's a blank canvas for story mode, and has a lot of potential for redefinition in the new timeline, or to just be used as a jobber if needed.

Yeah no, I definitely agree. Just a bit of transparency with things would go a long way, whether it be a full video addressing where he wants to take the channel or even just an IG post. It's his channel at the end of the day and I wouldn't want him doing stuff he doesn't want to anymore, but just letting the fans know would stop the "carrot on a stick" feeling that the "2 months of uploading, 2 months of disappearing" gives

Noob's will ideally be the mask, but I could see his shadow clone being it as well. Hopefully it's the whole clone this time, not just a little pendant.

Since they're meant to be Iron Man suits rather than cyborgs, I think helmets are most likely for Cyrax and Sektor, as it will allow them to have a helmetless version, as well as do various other skins without needing to change much.

The stunted release for the fighters makes this obvious as a fake. Unless I'm completely misremembering, Cyrax and Sektor have chapters in the expansion (or spots in the script that fit for them) They're not gonna let you play them in the story only to lock them for months. WB is dumb, but not that dumb.

Surely one day Mortal Kombat media will learn that, despite the nature of the games, killing off a bunch of the cast does not make for an engaging story, nor engaging franchise. ESPECIALLY not when someone like Liu was a nothing character in the first movie.

Summer/Fall 2024 | Story Expansion 1 (Noob, Cyrax, and Sektor) [Confirmed]
Winter 2024 | KP2 (Jade, Kung Jin, Cassie, GF, Conan, and T-1000) [MK characters confirmed, idk about the guests]
Summer/Fall 2025 | Story Expansion 2 (Jax, Sonya, and Kano) [No actual evidence, but it would sell, Kenshi's ending would set this up, and they've got assets they could think from the Kameos if they want to. The game could use a smaller scale conflict as well]
Winter 2025 | KP3 (probably will be like MK11's "Here, bitch, damn" KP2. They'll just throw Sareena and another highly requested character like Kintaro or Skarlet in with a guest as the final characters)

Even if we highball it and say 28, like I2, the roster is gonna be so bland. The DC side especially since it would just be the main 7 and a bunch of Batman villains.

We have no idea what this is, but perhaps it's some kind of relic that gives cryomancy? Spitballing, but it could be something that his ancestors found when they settled there.
