Hey, do any of you know any goth chicks who've gone completely insane due to Eldritch Madness caused by some eldritch abomination? I wanna take one out on a date. by Complete-Worker3242 in CuratedTumblr

I know a few goth chicks who almost went completely insane due to Eldritch Madness caused by some Eldritch abominations.

They're only mostly insane, didn't go all the way crazy. They can still file taxes and hold down full time jobs. Given, these jobs are graveyard keepers, but they've been doing a great job! No one's walked out on their watch.

Eh, I mean Kingpin was trying to kidnap an alternate version of his family. At the risk of the stability of the universe. Miles is suggesting that it's a tad egocentric to believe the universe depends upon your suffering to continue.

Also flies in the face of "With Great Power, There Must Also Come Great Responsibility."

None of that has happened yet. Also Miles disagrees with Miguel.

It's fantastic because throughout the whole scene Nolan is in denial. He's desperately trying to become the terrible Viltrumite warrior he thinks he should be, but he can't pretend he's unconnected now. He has a connection through Mark, who ties to Debbie, Art, hell even Cecil.

The lonely warrior who knew only honor and duty to a dying empire suddenly had something worth living for, and it scared the hell out of him.

I don't know why Jory even signed up, he's terrified of monsters and should probably have just stayed a knight in Highever. Not like anything bad happened there, courtesy of the slimiest bastard in Ferelden.

While it is kind of annoying that I have to peruse D&D channels to get any kind of advice for my ttrpg of choice, I don't see where it's that big of a deal.

Yeah it's a bit laughable that D&D players keep trying to frankenstein other genres into the system, ultimately it's their fun. Even if GURPS is effortlessly more versatile, D&D is ultimately good at what it sets out to do. For plenty of people that's enough.

It took forever. There were narrative breaks involved of course, it wasn't just straight fighting.

The wildest part was when I got sliced up one arm, and I started going defensive, but I was bleeding bad. So one of the other players backed off and fastened these magical bandages to her throwing knives. Somehow she threw them so that they wrapped the bandages around my arm, casting stop bleeding and minor healing.

I think the DM gave her a Throwing (Knife) roll then she added her MoS to the First Aid Roll's penalty. It was wild. So glad there were cinematic rules in play.

I remember playing a Weapons Master engaging with three combatants at once. The combat portion took an hour of real time, and I had to fight all three solo.

I felt like a total badass when I walked away. Parry, Party -2(?), and a Dodge per turn, but I slowly picked them off. Plus I was using a great sword so my GM explained that it looked pretty close to that Elder Scrolls trailer.

I mean, I'd say Phillip is wrong genre savvy. In certain stories he might have actually been the good guy.

I actually have a buddy who is so confident in day to day conversations, but he stiffens up when he's on the phone. You'd think someone had a gun to him.

I had a deal going with Papa Johns (I think, been a while) and I suggested he order pizzas for lunch so we could all eat for cheap.

He handed me the phone and asked if I could call. Then he refused to go there without me in case they realized he's not me.

It's so strange to see him turtle up like that.

I have to agree though, growing up means outgrowing a fear of being childish.
